@@artifactaddiction yea we’ve found about 5 hilo type points in one spot. They got little ranges almost. A Clovis is unpredictable but there’s a chance of finding an axe. We’ve found about 12 axes I believe? They’re out there!

I hunted South Jersey from 1969 to 1990 found Le Croys but never paleo points but found paleo knives and some scrapers,all my sites are now gone,but I have a nice display cases👍👍👍

I know nowadays the plowing is rare... Usually only holes are made to plant...but now an then the dirt gets turned... I am going hunting soon,an plowed or not am looking..most of my collection historic an pre are from Tennessee although iam in Ohio and hunt south of here,here being Akron..ty for sharing...connie

I love a lecroy. Something about them, but!! That Paleo was awesome. Especially right after a killer lecroy. And then a killer bird point. What a day. And yes, it is crazy that some sites hold so many different eras of artifacts. They lived in some areas for a long time
Yes, those LeCroys are hard to beat. I love all the bifurcated points. Especially the serrated pieces. However, I’ll never turn down a killer Paleo either…lol. It was an incredible day for sure. The LeCroy and the Hi Lo are really nice. I'm glad that you two are back out in the field, for the 2nd video I believe. You should have a great season ahead of you, especially when the fields get worked. The point, with very small notches, might be a "shallow side notched" point from the Converse book.

Absolutely I’m with you on the bifurcate points, here we have same style lecroy, and a variety of same with what I think has a mouse eared base w/ rounded tangs rather than pointed tangs . And wow what a smoker hi lo , wow definitely a awesome site ! Congratulations! Thank you for bringing video!

Great hunt! I was invited to walk some huge fields a few days ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. The original arrowhead hunting method is so much fun. Yes, a lot of these points are used for hunting. A lot of them are used as knives as well. All found on ancient village/campsites. It’s rare to find bones in the plow zone that most likely have decayed over thousands of years. Definitely not impossible though. I found a beautiful deer leg bone on a site a couple years ago that had been worked into a trigger awl. The bone obviously had been preserved within the sandy site.
I love collecting artifact books as well. A few of my favorites are “Overstreet Identification guide”, “Projectile points and the Illinois Landscape”, “Indian Artifacts Best of the Midwest”, “Ohio Flint Types”, “Paleo Indian Artifacts”. Just to name a few. Many more.
