  • Exporting standard Tinkercad or Codeblocks designs as SVGs opens up many kinds of projects-from cutting or etching with a laser cutter, to cutting paper cards, heat transfer vinyl, and more with a paper cutter, as well as drawing with machines that take pens. The 2D capabilities of Tinkercad adds a new dimension (!).

Hi Rob, I'm only getting blank files when I open the SVG with chrome, lightburn, or inkscape. I've tried 3 computers (mac and windows), black and red shapes, text, moving lower into the workplane. Is there something I'm missing or is this feature unreliable?

Hey Jon. Huh! Not being in contact with the workplane would have been my first guess, but it sounds like that's not the case. I've been using this feature for quite some time and never had an issue. Any chance you can share a short video so we can better trouble shoot?
