Just wish the Iranian prodigy could go far and higher from here. What an amazing performance he has given to the world of table tennis through this event. Heartwarming to see Lin Shidong and the Chinese coach offering appreciation and comforting to the young player.
Harimoto had the same potential at age 14, beating some top Chinese players, but somehow did not fulfil his potential. Hopeful, this Iranian prodigy does.
Teenager Harimoto also beat Ma Long but stopped by FZD; LSD is little FZD

No, man. Lin shidong almost got the taste of his own medicine, like which he did to Ma long at China Smash. Lin Shidong did illegal hook serve, and this kid did the same to him. Lin Shidong played very tactically here by not using the illegal hook serve to keep Farazi not to use it as well, and lo and behold, Farazi didn't do the Hook Serve at the advantage game point. Had Farazi did the Hook serve, he had a better chance of winning against LSD. Also, I belive, had Lin Shidong hadn't done the illegal serve to Ma Long, Ma long would have won the China Smash 2024, but Ma Long lost most of the points on LSD's illegal hook serve. I wished that Ma Long does some illegal serve as well to give LSD the taste of his own medicine. LSD has been protested by many for his serve like Timo Boll, Anders Lind and others.

Not to be offend this kid. He is really playing exceptionally unbelievable game. But in my opinion he is playing great coz he has nothing to lose here. So he is giving his all out effort and playing fearlessly. But once he comes to the international forum regularly, his matches will be studied and also his own expectations will hamper his game. As seen with Harimoto and even Felix is losing regularly to chinese.

No, the kid has done it in every game, not just against Lin! Lin's serving can still be watched from the front but not the kid's, big difference.

@@dongiovanni8899 Truls is old, so he got fewer years to compete and lower room for improvement. Talented though. Felix: just coz I don't like his attitude, but also, unlike his lower-ranked brother he's got lower % of winning against Chinese I guess. Lin has defeated everybody this year so far, while the other kid has defeated No.1, almost defeated Lin and performed well against Harimoto. I wish he will shout less.
