No, man. Lin shidong almost got the taste of his own medicine, like which he did to Ma long at China Smash. Lin Shidong did illegal hook serve, and this kid did the same to him. Lin Shidong played very tactically here by not using the illegal hook serve in the 5th game to keep Farazi not to use it as well, and lo and behold, Farazi took the bait and didn't do the Hook Serve at the advantage game point. Had Farazi did the Hook serve, he had a better chance of winning against LSD. Also, I belive, had Lin Shidong hadn't done the illegal serve to Ma Long, Ma long would have won the China Smash 2024, but Ma Long lost most of the points on LSD's illegal hook serve. I wished that Ma Long does some illegal serve as well to give LSD the taste of his own medicine. LSD has been protested by many for his serve like Timo Boll, Anders Lind and others.
This iranian prodigy is going places. Beating WCQ and earning 2 Matchpoints against LSD is just bananas. What a 14 year old is capable of is simply nuts. You can clearly see the relief in LSDs face.

expected the kid to lose badly when lsd discovered the backhand weakness but somehow the kid managed to turn the game around and put up a close match.
Cannot remember last time a 14-year old caused such a sensation in any international tournament by beating world top ranked player and almost defeating the third-ranked. This Asian tourney has become Benyamin Faraji’s come-out show. Best wishes for him in the years to come.

Such performance is a clear win already, irrespective of the result. This is the fact - he is young and already playing on the same level as top 10 players. Proved during several last matches ))) What is more impressive Faraji is mentally strong when playing important points at the end of the set.

Lin Shindong's face in the end of match tells a lot about play😊. Faraji did not win due to absence of enought experience, from 9:3 a lot of own mistakes, and Lin point and point strategy give results.
lsd is not used to his serve, next time, LSD will be in a better position. This kid definitely has talent, but he needs an competitive environment to grow. In Iran, he has no such enviroment.

LSD play single, mix double ,men double and team so he is much more tired. In his full strength, I think this game would be faster. Hope this Iran boy can play more in international game. Shidong is simply too strong in both technique and mental game

The 14-year-old is extremely talented! Once he matured his skills he could be a big threat to China's TT dominance, maybe even a bigger threat than Harimoto and the Danish, i mean you just didn't get to see the chinese top players get cornered like that very often, the last time LSD won by a narrow victory was playing against Malong 2 weeks ago, but this time he was obviously more stressful

It was clear that Lin started to play more seriously in the third set. If you noticed, his backhand wasn't powerful, just fast balls and no attack at all. The kid is really good, but he can't beat the Chinese team twice. It's just the first match, and you've already studied your opponent, can't make mistakes twice.

Don’t understand why these Chinese guys can’t beat this Iranian kid easily 3-0. He obviously got lack of experience and skill, looks like Chinese are exhausted, don’t have another answer

The conditions are not favorable. The table and ball may not be the ideal match and the chinese are not focused.
When you play against an opponent you haven't played against before, you're not used to it. That's why it's so difficult to win.

@@monacolita9999 He is really strong is some aspects but weak in others, I feel like the Chinese are more well rounded. And I think once they study this kid, they will beat him easily.
I feel like he gives opponents quite easy ball at times and goes too far back at times as well when not needed.
