Actually Chris did get some high level D 1 offers, but they came late in his senior year. Campbell had been recruiting him since he was a freshman. Instead of decomitting and going to a big time school he said that Campbell believed in him when no one else did and he would show loyalty to the school that showed loyalty to him and honor his commitment. Then after each season at Campbell when people speculated that he would or suggested that he should transfer to a bigger school he said Campbell was loyal to him and he appreciated that loyalty. He stayed where he started. So not only is CC and outstanding basketball player. He is an outstanding man. The traits he shows are ones that all parents would hope that their own children would display.

Like to a casual fan he basically just said "Hurrdurr being tall is good for basketball" he didn't explain why in this day and age small players are even less picked than usual. The league has become PnR heavy and in turn if your defense can switch you can handle it while if you have a mismatch on the floor teams will make swapping the mismatch onto their best player through the PnR their main focus. Big players are becoming more skilled since just being big isn't enough to keep you on the floor either, tall guards with good passing ability can see over defenders in PnR situations while shorter players struggle in the same circumstance. There is a plethora of reasons, but if any team was going to pick someone up exclusively because of their offense it would be Houston lol.

Reminds me of JJ Barea... he bounced back between the G League and the NBA early in his career, every time he was sent to the G League he would score 40+, he avg 27 and 8 and was offered a full time contract been a Mavs ever since. He has been in the league for 13 years now.. that's a successful career in my opinion. This kid can do that or better.

Mike, you killed it again! Bro, you always make me get so hyped up on whatever it is you are talking about. It's interesting because you are kind of over-the-top and you're approach is very upfront, high level, even obvious sometimes but, yet, it is completely your own style and comes off as fully authentic. Seriously, great videos. It's like an event every time! And, best of all, it kind of makes me feel like I am picking behind the curtain into all these amazing things because of your delivery. I was at that Clemons vs Geirgetown game. Alonzo Mourning was court side. It was incredible. He made just about everything". they were down like 20 I think with 5 minutes left and he just didn't miss from there. He hit multiple shots from curry range. It was insane. Easily the best performance I have seen in person. Clemons also caught an alley oop that game. He was as good if not better than I expected. Ever since then, I've been amazed at the kid. I was really shocked he didn't get drafted. Though not at all surprised to see him balling in the summer league. This kid is legit.

This is crazy bro, I was at the Thunder - Rockets game where Westbrook made his return and during halftime warm-ups this guy literally could not miss a 3 and I noticed him because of how small he was. The Rockets got blown out so they put him in late in the game and I was shocked at how fast he was and how well his warm-up shots translated to in-game. No idea he was a rookie or where he came from but he made an impression

Same reason no team drafted Mike Daum (who ALSO scored 3000 points in his college career and was unpicked in 2019 despite being 7'th on the all-time scoring list) - small school in a small school league and they didn't consider him well rounded enough or think his game would translate well to the NBA - and Daum wasn't nearly as SHORT (though he wasn't a tall player).
I suspect Clemens might be this decade's Spud Webb - but with a good 3 point shot.
Daum DID get signed to a summer league contract, but apparently didn't impress enough and is now playing in Italy.
