>every single childrens cartoon movie and video game contains an episode or sequence or level where someone or something gets eaten alive. What else was I supposed to be? I was fated, doomed, to be voretrash.
For a long time, I thought the seed for becoming a furry was planted by playing Sly Cooper and seeing Carmelita Fox for the first time when I was around 9-10 years old, but then I remembered that when I was much younger, around 4-5 years old, there was this show called Road Rovers, a show about anthropomorphic dogs, and I had a crush on one of the female characters, that might have been where it started.
I thought I was the only one that grew up watching pound puppies lmao, too many good ones to mention but I'd add rock-a-doodle, the sword in the stone, and the adventures of the American rabbit which came out the same year as pound puppies funny enough. We really had no chance. 😂
I’m the same way with fat girls. I blame Ursula from The Little Mermaid, but I keep finding other signs from my childhood that I was always going to turn out this way lol
I'm still trying to figure out how I became a gay furry because I didn't really see any Disney films until Disney+ came out and I was both gay and a furry for as long as I can remember.
3:53 "I hope they don't disregard The Lion Guard" Bro, that was Disney Television and this is Disney Pictures, the show might as well have never existed. A Disney theatrical film has never acknowledged something that happened on a TV show or direct-to-video film
My mom has an old home video of me at my grandma’s house playing with a rubber snake toy when I was like three or four years old. In the video, mom asked what the snake’s name is and I answered “Kaa” 😆
I was into monsters since I was old enough to be into anything... so, definitely before hitting 10. I learned about furries through that, and there's enough overlap between the two.
3:38 *nerd voice with extra saliva* Umm, actually, *snort* the story of how Scar got his scar came from the Lion King comic, “The Tale of Two Brothers”, which was one of six Lion King stories which came out the same year as the movie. *slurp*
Yay YMS uploaded a short clip to brighten my mood because of dumb recent drama between star wars theory and star wars explained thank fuck that channels like thor skywalker and star wars meg called for a seize fire

Had 2003 tmnt, a bunch of land before time movies and an adamant love of yoshi & bowser so scalie-dom was fit for me growing up.

Disney’s robin hood and sly cooper games somehow didnt make me into a canine furry. I did become a scalie though, I blame the childhood dinosaur phase
