i keep getting an error when im trying to luanch gameranger after install, it says "No response from game ranger server" I even pinged their site with CMD and it pinged back, please help SOLUTION FOUND Start zero hour once before trying to launch game ranger if you had this problem
u can manually do it if it doesn't want to work. u can do this by selecting the 'generals.exe' in the 'launcher' folder in the game's directory. if u are using Steam, make sure u traverse through the 'GameRanger Game Location' shortcut at least once. you'll see it in your game directory :)
Hi Legi, I had downloaded GameRanger and play all normal for 10 days, suddenly, GameRanger can not launch with error msg "No Response From GameRanger Server". I tried to uninstalling and reinstalling GameRanger, but the same error still occurs. Any kind advice?

yeah this issue should have been fixed with v2.07a, but i'll release v2.07b later today (probably in a few hours). v2.07b is going to use an enhanced way of activating GameRanger, so it could be taht it will fix your problem. :) if u want, join the Discord now, and i'll send u the current test version

Well... it actually works but the whole game process feels a little laggy (like low FPS laggy + a liitle input delay). Was it always like that (last time i played ZH was 10+ years ago, could be a classic case of false memory i.e."EVERYTHING WAS BETTER BACK THEN!11" )?

Hi. I have a problem with the option "Launch the game in a window when playing via gameranger" It just doesn't turn on and Idk why. That's not the biggest problem. Problem number 1 is that i can't move across the map by moving my cursor on the corners of the screen. I'm in a full screen and it still doesn't work. If i hold the right mouse button it will move but for me it's really challenging to move by using it. Any solution for this annoying problem?

@legionnaireGenerals Hello, I have a small issue in my playing generals zero hour online via game ranger, i join any room and start the game and join the lobby without any issue but once i am in the lobby screen where i can put my location and team... i cannot press anything it does not show anything on my screen yet on my friend's screens it shows where i put my location, team, color... and i cannot even press accept and if they change the map i can not see it unless i press back then join again it changes but yet i can not press anything on it. I have same problem. Also, the GenPatcher switch "Launch the game in a window when playing via GameRanger" will not activate. I hit the button, it opens GameRanger, but the switch doesn't show "on". When I join a game, the bottom of the screen is not within the resolution, even though the resolution fits my screen.

Gameranger doesn’t show that I have any games installed (steam) and when I chose where they are it says “chose the right file”…

firewall problem even all my firewall inbounds rule are open for udp 16000, and then turn off the windows firewall and still get the same problem

FPS should easily be above 60. You can see your FPS as the yellow number in the top left corner. (Assuming you have GenTool installed)

Some guy commented the "solution" of just running the game once, didn't work.

when you install CC with steam, gameranger won't detect CC. And when I try to add it manually it says "invalid Selection"

Make sure the time in your system is correct. Otherwise, try using a VPN like Windscribe.
