@@akyhne yeah.. You're right..
I guess cause the marketing was done by Apple and cause of the unnecessary hype people have for them, they make having a calculator app into something else.. Hehe.
Well, I don't blame them, I applaud Apple as they do marketing more than anything else..
Other than what they did with the M-series chip for commercial use cases, marketing is the next big skill or quality they have.
Why they always get people..
@@neodidi Apple did the clever thing to add a paint app to their calculator. But the drawing of the girl playing table tennis on the Apple demo, brings nothing to the calculation. It's nothing but a gimmick.
But that's not how people think.
@@akyhne yeah.. Offcourse there will be gimmicks.. It's part of Apple's strategy of marketing.. Gets people talking and talking and eventually give some people the idea that they might actually need that.
And those few people who would use it no matter how inconvenient would tweet or make a video and hence.. More marketing.
I actually do admire their marketing skill.. I try to learn a thing or two.. But yeah, other than their macbooks, I don't see anything else as innovating or ground breaking.
Steve Jobs had a strange directive to not put a calculator on the iPad. They have been honoring that, who knows why.
every person on the planet who needs a calculator has one, it was worth making something genuinely special. When apple do these things it pushes the other companies to follow suit pushing the whole industry forward. I am confused why being able to customise you Home Screen is seen as so negative considering other devices can already do this... so why is it a negative when apple do it ?? strange
As sick as my Ti?
Pffft. Ti... HP-48GX or GTFO 🤣
10:33 lollllll
PCalc has been available forever on iPhone and iPad. It is the reason Apple hasn’t done a calculator.
App Store always had third-party calculator apps. Who cares Apple didn't have a stock calculator app.
Impressive stuff
Waiting for snapdragon x elite laptops review.
Or is it not that big of a tech news if Apple is not involved 😀
most views are on Apple. So vloggers spend more on videos about Apple. If you see vlogs about others...they will put title Macbook Killer, iPad Killer, iPhone Killer😂😂😂😂 so it can have a chance for clicks.
2:18 good craig impression
4:31 9.80665 meters per second , get it right people 😉😉
Everything happened in the tech world and here we are talking about a calculator app sad day for content creators
FYI: My Script Calculator has existed for at least 6 years.
That’s actually true, but I don’t remember it being able to plot graphs, it’s been so long I used it
Exactly! What's on my mind from day 1 of seeing this calculator! And I'm shocked it's never mentioned.
Too bad the coolest thing about the new iPad is the calculator app…
Guys... have you ever heard about OCR?! It's ancient technology.
Apple jyst uses basic OCR to capture, what's written on the screen. This could have been done in the 80s ffs!
And both Microsoft abd another company has had an app for Android, that could do thus for years, as well as OneNote in Windows could.
It's not rocket science! Not even clise!
5:15 Exactly! And that's why it's of no use for 99% of all people. You need to be able to make the equations.
For everyone else, they are better off, just using a simple calculator.
And for the 1%, many would still just use a calculator, cause that's how they learned in university how to do the calculations (or in a spreadsheet).
It's a gimmick!
Why doesn’t it do calculus?
After years 😭😂
Onenote has had some of these handwritten math features for a couple of years now.
But that required to give the answer too, and only was able to find the variable as result, it was way more limited, and you must know the exact answer too, instead of getting the answer.
That’s not the same thing tho
I've never tried the OneNote feature, but Microsoft has had an app for Android and (I think it's called IOS), that can do the same, basically.
It's free and is called Microsoft Math Solver.
