5.5L bi-turbo, or M157 is in production now. On some models it was replaced with M178 4.0L bi-turbo...but in case of GLS and GLE...it is still M157 or 5.5L twin turbo V8
I am a Benz fan and if you look a few gens back I really would say there is really nothing major or nothing better that is giving me the drill to upgrade at this current stage. Quite dissatisfied..
