Hey everyone, as much as I wanted to feature the Coquette Vice and Phobos, those two would be better suited for a modded showcase. Maybe we'll hold it to another pole in the near future. Edit: This has been a great exercise in realizing I've been saying "Coquette" wrong for about 15 years. Oopsies.
While I do use modded varaints of prexisting vehicles in GTAO features; I feel any vehicle that uses a completely different model (not from V or IV) is more deserving of its own spotlight on the modded series.
@@virtualcarchive you have to admit it would have been cool if you had the 3rd and 4th gen corvette parodies in this though. since rn you're jumping from 60's to late 90's basically when you could have gradually jumped from 60's to 70's to 80's and then late 90's
I 100% agree it was pretty jarring to just jump 30 years without really acknowledging it. I especially wanted to cover the Vice, amazing model. I did play with the idea of making the feature with all of them and then jump cutting as though the footage have been badly trimmed out, so it could be uploaded like lost footage... just ran out of time.
Funny fact: Back in 2008, since Invereto was owned by Declasse, the LCPD put the Coquette under Declasse brand, meaning every time The Coquette was dispatched in police radio, it would be called a "Declasse Coquette", since Declasse owned Invereto.
@@chandaniejayasundara5151 The name "Invereto" gives a more "sports car" manufacture name, While "Declasse" sounds like a sedan and van manufacture. :p
I know, love to see that in the game along with a C6, C4 and a C3 Corvettes, maybe ones based on concepts like the '09 Stingray Concept (with the 2010 Roadster variant) and some track race variants too along with Benny's variants such as a C2 Corvette Grand Sport and so on, so yeah
This should absolutely be made canon in GTA 6, and this guy given a position making GTA 6 car journalism, either on TV in GTA 6 or in the form of a book. This will help build relationships with pseudo carbrands in GTA!

Could you do a video on the "Vehicles of LSPD over the years"? or a video about Los Santos's and SA's emergency vehicles from old, modern to future day? I'd like to see your interpretation of the vehicles The law enforcement used :3
It's a shame we don't have a C4 based Coquette in the franchise. Is probably my favorite generation of the Corvette. Great video btw, love those lore-friendly reviews

What pisses me off the most is in Story mode on GTAV, you can find the normal Buffalo police car driving around the police station near the LS River, but it never came to online
i love how you make the period correct traffic/b-roll scenes for these. Would love for GTA to evolve into a REAL sandbox like this to create our own worlds in.

It was when I started the script lol (before Bottom Dollar Bounties). It's second to the D1 simply because its description alludes to the D1 one being the "first", and there's also an in-game "Classic American Cars" poster which claims the BlackFin is a 1962 model
Which would make sense given how the D1 is predominantly the C1 refresh. But that's Rockstar for ya, I'm sure we'll be back here again when they decide to retcon the GTA IV one lol
Looking at this video I just realiyed they multiple versions of C1 but no version of 4th generation Which is a shame considering that one was in GTA Vice City

Would definitely be cool since I think we have just about every decade of police vehicles from the 70s to now in game
Only issue is we don’t have an FPIU which is arguably the new quintessential cop car
