I am no longer into Star Trek but i still love it...
Especially his lore... is insanely detailed for almos every species that had more than 2 minutes of screen, and also, it have a awesome community.

I don't think that Andorians are particularly militaristic, like the Klingons or Romulans, It's just that all we've really seen of them were their military. We know that they are highly scientific and musical in nature as well according to TNG as the Andorian Science Academy rivals the one on Vulcan
The facility under P'Jem was not a research complex, it was a long range listening post to spy on the Andorians

Andorians they were earths only true allies against the xindi in season 3 as shran came to earth to save it where as the Vulcans did not.

I didn't like Enterprise the first time I saw it. But I went back years later and thought it was amazing. Now I love it as much as the other series. Though TNG/DS9 will always be my favorites.
