Yeah there is no need to buy meat in the stores, there are all game animals that are great and an easy way to fill the freezer and it saves you a lot of money.
What Steve said right before was pretty damn funny. You could see Eduardo chuckle a bit and then he got deep. I really like this pairing of personalities and skill sets.
Honestly this is probably one of the best episodes ever. Id like to see steve and eduardo colab on some hunting and fishing!! And of course cooking and eating!! 🔥
Meat eater crew, I’ve been watching a long time. For what it’s worth you’d be doing a wonderfullllll thing to keep chef Garcia coming back for more episodes.
Yes, I've been waiting for this collaboration for a while. If anyone hasn't seen Eduardo's movie "Charged", I highly recommend it. It documents him going through his accident and his recovery process. Really hoping to see a hunt with these two.
He studied writing in college. Watching the show he also quotes a lot of nature writers like John Muir, aldo leopold, adolph murie, John Burroughs etc...
I found out about Chef Garcia only today. Amazing person. "Work with what life gave you". Steve as always bringing the absolute best content. All my friends are out on a Friday to either a pub or a club and I'm here at home watching Meat Eater over a cup of tea.
10/10. I really appreciate how Steve features different people showcasing their talent and experience. Mr. Garcia obviously has a deep connection with nature, food, life, and the human condition, much like Steve. I would love to see additional collaborations with this chef and more like hime from across our great country. Top notch gentlemen.
Been watching a while and I love the show. This was one of the best episodes. Loved Chef Garcia and his knowledge. Nice work guys! It looked delicious.
smoked food, or cooking over a fire or a grill or in the smoker, will always have my heart. I may not have gotten the quote perfect, but that is THE perfect statement. "Here we have... **dramatic pause** ... **intense eye contact** ... MALLARD DUCK." Also my favorite part.
Love this show and these guys seem like 2 of the coolest on the planet. Hate that I'll never get to hunt or hang out with them in this lifetime lol. Much respect fellas.
Here I am. 10:30 at night. The eve of flying back to Tennessee from a family vacation in Florida. Now dreaming about smoked meats and smoked salsa though I just recently ate my favorite fried grouper sandwich on the coast I’m some how hungry lol
Eating tongue is “in” now. Growing up with grandparents who went through the Great Depression, eating tongue was a normal part of my life and I’m 35. Needless to say when I brought tongue to college in the early 2000s, my roommates had some things to say. Then I made sandwiches for them….
Garcia is very easy to watch. Great personality. More of this guy
100% agreed! Steve needs to get him out in the field
Have u seen his story on amozon prime videos?
Its about how he lost his arm
Needs to be on the podcast more often
It'd be pretty cool to see Steve do a spin-off with Garcia like Jean Paul's Duck Camp Dinners :-)
Absolutely
"Work with what life gave you" is one of the best pieces of advice you can get. Its so true and simple.
U can see he's a genuine guy who is thankful for what he has not bitter for what has been taken away, a mark of a true man

These two are two peas in a pod. Such mellow-esque personalities.
Honestly this is probably one of the best episodes ever. Id like to see steve and eduardo colab on some hunting and fishing!! And of course cooking and eating!! 🔥
That would be great. I'm still drooling over that feast.
Couldn’t agree more!

Your telling me a guy with a hook sailed the 7 seas??? That guy was born to be a pirate
Yes, I've been waiting for this collaboration for a while. If anyone hasn't seen Eduardo's movie "Charged", I highly recommend it. It documents him going through his accident and his recovery process. Really hoping to see a hunt with these two.
Garcia needs to be on the MeatEater crew. Two guys with vastly different upbringing but brought up in the same world of hunting.
I appreciate Eduardo Showing Steve some very old school Mexican cooking techniques. Simple yet very effective for making great tasting food.
Great episode, Chef Eduardo really has a passion for food!
Need to see more of Chef Eduardo
Love this!
Garcia is an absolute treat and he cooked some really awesome looking food.
I could watch them talk all day, haha.
10/10 episode!
I can see the sadness in his eyes, looks like cooking really helps this gentleman.
Steve is the Anthony Bourdain of the outdoor/hunting/fishing world. Deep pockets of cultural experience. I love it.
Oh man!!!! Killer recipes, killer video. Meateater for life.
Wow. That dude can fly cast

Eduardo is a lord. Super easy presenter to watch, nice recipes, with a great life philosophy to boot.
Holy shit! So much respect for chef Garcia re his accident, dude is a survivor, I would be honored to have a meal with him!
Unbeleivable the richness of food and the passion of men
At this point I find it weird when Steve’s hair is cleaned up
Nothing makes me want to quit construction and start cooking wild game for folks like watching these guys. Love this stuff!
love this show! I can't wait for my first hunt.
What I love about hunting, is finding recipes where I can use the game I’ve got. And I love good food. And hunting makes it taste so much better.
Thank you this is one of the best MeatEaters I ever watched Steve and Garcia you are outstanding and thank you for all that information.
Another massive episode cheers boiz

Tongue is probably the most underrated piece of meat in the US... mesquite smoked beef tongue with just some adobo is by far the best thing around.
Can never get enough of you guys. Especially the cooking.
Been watching a while and I love the show. This was one of the best episodes. Loved Chef Garcia and his knowledge. Nice work guys! It looked delicious.
Love it...really enjoy seeing Eduardo Garcia with you cooking. Love the ideas and knowledge y'all share.

This was one of my favorite shows to date. Well done gents.
Probably the best team right there. Steve and Eduardo, awesome job.
I almost enjoy the friendships I see as much as the hunting and the cooking.
Hi from Syracuse NY brother and thank you for sharing your thoughts and adventures and everyone else and I saw this on tv

Not the first, nor the last, in which I cried. Not even for some big thing, this one just hits home.
Only fuss is 205 degrees on ALL pork for pickin. Including "whole hog" and ribs (wrapped). Love the show!

Great episode, could go for more of you two collaborating .
Like always amazing and damn you get me hungry has hell !!! 🤤
This man probably does more with 1 hand than I do with both my hands. Respect. ✊ what a guy. god bless this man!
I overcooked hotdogs in the microwave with both hands, then gave up and haven’t cooked hotdogs again. Eduardo humbled me hilariously
I love these cooking episodes.
