- Little different video for me, nieces and nephews. I intentionally stayed unemployed for a few months after our transition to the other side of Florida. But that decision came with some consequences. Let's talk about them and what I'm doing differently.

I'm 67 almost 68 and have unemployed for 2 weeks in my entire life. Retired for 5 years and no complaints. 55 years and some rough times but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Not complaining life has been pretty good to me
You still have to take care of the little human you’re responsible for. He is so precious.🙏🏻💯👍🇺🇸
Awesome job Mike, keep it up brother 👊
Good stuff man! Congrats! Best of luck and have fun!
Loved being able to meet you at the new job !

Cheers bud!
Congratulations to you on all of your present and future endeavors.
Wishing you every success…
Cheers my man thank you
I've worked construction, in a mill and have been in engineering since I was out of college. I hate it. But it pays the bills and keeps me on my visa. Good on you trying different things now that you can. I'd always have to do something as well, definitely couldn't sell things I don't think :D
Definitely would like to see a pressure washing video, best of luck with it!
Cheers bud!
Love the channel man, you seem like a good dude.
Cheers bud! Thanks
I completely understand what you are saying about losing motivation I'm four months down from shattering my knee and unable to walk enough to get back to work but the mental health takes a hit, good luck with the business
I love the Moto vlog's . I retired a little early a few years ago and I got a part time job driving for Enterprise and I love it . Can't just sit around I need a purpose and I love to drive and the job is low stress . You obviously love motorcycles and found a job where you can be around them and be around like minded people and learn another side of the business sounds like a win win . Good luck my friend with your new gig and side gig and welcome to Deland .
Cheers my man
I hope the business takes off for you.
Hey man, ironically I also got a job in parts at a harley dealer, Shoreline Harley-Davidson in westomg branch, New Jersey. I've been there almost 2 months now. Wild how you're already a manager, I'm just learning how to modify inventory
Well take that with a grain of salt. I come from almost 2 decades of successful retail leadership. I don't need to know the nuts and bolts (get it?) of the inventory piece of it right away. But teaching a team how to sell is where my expertise is.
Grats on the job though my man! Hop you like it. I do
Perhaps make TH-cam videos of some of the unique parts that you sell from time to time. Like a Tech Tip Thursday type of deal 😎🏍️👍🏻
Good to see you back at work.
I've been in parts for 14 years and want to work at harley but their pay is crap.
Every dealer is probably different. I’d be curious to see the difference between Harley and other brands
Less stress you're much better off, stress is unhealthy, good luck
TH-cam is really screwing with your channel. This is the third video in a row that just doesn't show up in my subscriptions box. And I didn't get any type of notification or anything.
As a former metric parts guy....welcome to the club. The big money is out on the floor (selling high dollar apparel/accessories), not just staying behind the counter selling nuts and bolts. I would do it again in a heartbeat if 1. no weekends and 2. it paid enough to support my family. Maybe you could do dealer videos for them (their TH-cam channel or new/used bike reviews)? Good luck.
I get it man. Life usually doesn’t go according to plan. My wife is the breadwinner with our family but I do enjoy what I do. (IT guy). Take care and best of luck to you.
Cheers my man!
Pressure washing! Ive been at it 10 years or so. Nice setup! Give me a shout if you have any questions 🤟
Lawn signs work great for me, if you don't get hastles by the cities.
As a business owner my best advice I can give you is to find a good accountant to do your itemized taxes, it costs you nothing as it's cost is also tax deductible, and ask them questions on what makes their and your life easier on handling receipts and bills. Good luck with your work and business.👍
good tip
Kinda crazy that your now working within 5 miles of where I was raised. I lived off of Upsala Rd.
Small world
Feel like I've been there a time or two 😆
dude....im half way through this and you have not shut up......talkie talkie.....wow....holy cow....you like hearing yourself talk...GEEEEEEEZ
Have you never been on youtube before? GEEEEEEZ. Lol and to think I even addressed people specifically like you within the first 2 minutes. You spent time out of your life typing this?
@@UncleBogator just like you spend your time YACKING on here and saying nothing...good luck with that,,,,,you said you were in sales...bet you never shut up enough for the CUCTOMER to tell you WHAT THEY WANTED.....
Why be a jerk! Uncle Bogator is a great guy!
Good for you. I worked for a Harley Dealer for 4 months in Parts. Manager was a nasty mean old man. I quit. LOL
This is my 2nd attempt at a dealer. So far so good
I could be wrong, im not sure what axle is under that trailer...but if you fill that water tank, would that not grossly put that trailer over its weight limit? Lol
We don't fill the tanks and haul them around. It's just a buffer used onsite.
Quit engineering about three weeks ago, and a toxic work environment. My jkbs were almost all toxic.
Work at a Harley franchise, a good one, the only good one in my area.
Keeps me healthy.
Excellent
I have been self-employed with my commercial/industrial electrical contracting business with up to 45 employees since 1997, architectural and electrical engineering business since 2003. Best advice I can give anyone self-employed is, get a good CPA.
Good advice
Make some pressure washing videos
Thought about it
Gm assistant parts manager here it's not a easy job as for stress I want to change to powersports let us know how it is
I wonder what's different between bikes and GM. So far doesn't seem too overwhelming.
@UncleBogator me too I'm thinking volume and in the car world people except now and the world and its there only mode of transportation so there already not happy but I want to know myself
As someone who has been self-employed, get a CPA. You do not want to owe the IRS.
Yeah I really should.
There can only be 1.
So let it be written
@@UncleBogator Nothing but love brother
Mike, I don’t know why, though I’m subscribed, your videos don’t pop up on my channel 🤨
Something I’ve been testing for a couple months. I’m telling TH-cam not to put it in feeds. Just seeing what effects it has on growth.
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Just get your foot in the door with a few jobs. Do an extra good job and impress your clients. Best marketing tool you can do. Good luck!
could teach guitar for income
Nah I’m not a teacher nor play all that well
Get to the fkn point !👎🏻
I led this whole video off with a message for people specifically like you lol.
@@UncleBogator It still amazes me when I see comments like this. What's the point.
@@TheGorillaBiker right. Like what does Walt gain from this whole interaction. And has he never been on TH-cam before?
@@UncleBogator exactly. Like nothing other than looking like a silly goose in front of a global audience was ever going to come of this.
@@UncleBogator I upset poor Walt, he came to my videos and called my face ugly 🥺
If I owned concrete or owned money I would hire you 🫡
Cheers my man!
