    The most expensive thing after buying a new truck is all the "stuff" you buy for it to make it your own. Nice looking upgrades.

    Some nice, functional mods you've added, and the truck looks good 👍. Would love to have an F250, but don't want the payments. Builtright Industries does quality work, and I recently installed two of their panels in the rear galley bulkhead of my Hiker Trailer, and might order an additional one. Also have had their rear seat release latch in my 2018 F150 for quite awhile.

    Thanks for the video. I ordered several items from your list. I appreciate you doing the research. Unfortunately the rear seat bench protector was no longer available. I like the looks of your tremor valance, but TL truck was able to show the larger valance helped with fuel mileage. Around town it's not a big deal, but on cross country trips it might make a difference. You going to add a transceiver to your truck, ie.. GMRS,HAM,CB etc...? just wondering about radio placement and antenna placement as the body of the truck is aluminum. Have a great summer!!!!

      Btw, you were talking about changing tires for speedometer. You can use forescan to change tire size. You shouldn’t have to worry about shift points, etc. I think in forescan you can even reset the transmission LEARN procedure.

    Brian. Larry from OK. So you did not explain the For Scan you used on your 250. What do you need to get the app to work. Is there an adapter you need to purchase. And how do you get it to work.

    • @BrianWatersOutdoors
      @BrianWatersOutdoors  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      There’s a million better TH-cam videos out there that can explain it better than I can. It’s forscan.org, you need to apply for a license and then buy an OBDII dongle to plug into your computer and the OBD port in your truck under your steering wheel. From there you can eventually change a lot of the programmed Ford settings that come on their trucks.

  • @Jassman3536

    great video and info. I like a lot of the mods you have done. Similar to my truck. One note with the tires is as they wear out they will make noise. I did the chalk method and air them down to keep the tread level. The ride will be better and they will last longer. I had 295 65 r20's and not that it is a big deal but the difference is noted also on the actual MPG as well as odometer when you sell the truck. I have since switched to a Carli 3" level, 37's and bags and went to 5 star for tune and Speedo and shift adjustments on my 7.3. Subscribed

    • @BrianWatersOutdoors
      @BrianWatersOutdoors  20 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I have t noticed much difference at all. Probably would with a 2.5” leveling kit though.

  • @lonbowers6676
    @lonbowers6676 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    I love everything you have done except the level kit. Trucks are made lower in the so when you tow something it levels the truck out. By leveling the truck you now raise the front end to high and turning you low beams to a high beam. If you get people flashing the high beams at you, you will now know why happen, because you leveled your truck.

    • @BrianWatersOutdoors
      @BrianWatersOutdoors  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Thanks👍🏻 but, the truck is still not “level”. You need 2.5” to level an F250 and this is only a 1.5” level. Also, that’s one of the reasons input the rear air bags in so I can increase the PSI when towing to keep the rear from sagging.

    • @esiebert7625
      @esiebert7625 24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Doesn’t seem to be a lot of mounting options on that truck unless you add a bull bar. What I did on my Yukon was replace the stock fog lights with aftermarket LED lights, removed the front tow hooks and put LED fog lights in there, had to make my own mounts to do that. I looked at putting a light bar above the windshield but that’s more difficult to mount and wire and looks kind of ugly. So I added a light bar behind the grill and secured it with JB Weld in the foam that is there. You have that big emblem in the middle of the grill so might be a challenge.
