Great video, aprreciate he work! 🌈👌 Would you recommmend 6.1, it,ä you’ve already 6.0 unstalled? Is there a killer reason? Better Emus and stuff? Update from 6.1 pss😮ble? Bios pack?
Great video as always...I strongly recommend the Xbox controller...it's preconfigured as you know.....but there are so many shortcuts on the controller that you can save and load states quickly...pressing two buttons at once usually the start and adjacent button .....ps keep up the good work
Great tutorial, I have a problem with my Xbox wireless controller. I do not have enough buttons for the hot key to enable to exit and save games. The only spare button is the middle small one which I think is the share button. When I allocate this, even though the controller mapping shows it as selected, it does not work when playing a game. Is there a way to use the keyboard to save and load game states
Thanks for the quick reply 👍 middle button does not seem to work so will have to use on the shoulder buttons to get into retro arch, was hoping to get a keyboard shortcut key
@@JustJamie1983 Unfortunately your video doesn't cover how to set up multiple emulator instances (and connect them). Derby Owners Club (among a few other similar games) requires a Naomi "master" as the main board and "satellites" that are connected to it.
I locked the UI so that the settings couldn't be changed by the kids...now none of my games show up at all and when I "unlock" the UI retrobat just crashes....please help now I can't use this thing at all... *UPDATE* I swapped the emulation station folder with a backup I had and it reverted the changes enough to take it out of kid mode. Kiosk mode works fine and I'm able to leave it fine but once kid mode is enabled the system is bricked. Interesting.
You shoot the same videos, although I once asked you to tell me how to play light pistol games on NES and Sega consoles with a mouse. Apparently, you will continue to shoot the same thing.
Most people come here because they want to learn how to play games. And you wasted so much time talking up front about screen art and sound. That should have come at the end because that's what we are least interested in.
Hey, most people aren't you. So frankly. Your comment is subjective and clearly you are very rude. People also come here to ask questions about sound and art, if you are already aware of how do this why would you watch a guide?

Hey thanks again
Some scraper are fantastic. Very Good.
Yup. Screen scraper as a free one is great. Emu Movies is also good too for people who pays.
@@JustJamie1983 ok understand.
great video! your intro videos are getting better by the day 👍
Haha. I am trying lol
I keep watching these but am still to setup a system 😂
Well, you have a reason to do so now.

Please check the log for 6.1
I did. My question was more if i should update my 6.0 which i only marginaly set up or install a fresh 6.1?
@jeroquai3170 I would personally update it. But be sure to make a back up.
Thanks. Will it just override my already installed cores, bios and maybe the roms/gamelists? Sorry noob question 😂😊

Normally. If you use the middle Button. That should exit you to retroarch quick menu. You can quit game from there.

I press select and start together on my Xbox controller to exit..hope this might help
@@iandrewski7307Thanks for trying to help but unfortunately nothing happens when I try this
Friend, do you have a video on how to create collections in Retrobat because I don't know how to do it?
I don't sorry but am happy to do one at some point.
Does retrobat support multi-board naomis? Such as Derby owners club. Can't find any info on it
Hey, check my RB playlist here, I covered Naomi some time back:

You Need to go to developer settings I believe. Change it from there. You will see - kids, kiosk etc.
@@JustJamie1983 those settings are not accessible once the ui was locked

I shoot them same videos? I also explained that I do not own a light gun.
