How To Make A C10 Look New | I Finished Grandmas Chevy Truck

  • On this episode I finish putting the final parts on Grandmas C10. How to make a c10 look like new...just replace about everything on the interior and a lot of stuff on the exterior. For those that may be interested, it came out to around $3500 in new parts which isn't hard to do when the parts like the dash and headliner are $300ish each. Hope you dig. I will be sure to include some updates on this thing in future videos.

Lookin great. The little details make all the difference. I say, see if you can get someone to recreate youre grandmas seat cover. That way its new but its still a slight custom touch over factory.
Also my bro in law has a 77 c10 longbed he inherited from his grandfather who bought it new. Its in really good shape save for some rocker cancer. Its getting fixed and painted now. All oem paint scheme. Once it gets back were going to lower it some with some new wheels. I may make a video on it

Super nice step side, thanks for the detail build information/knowledge. Again lots of helpful information. Also, like the original look too. Really nice truck! 1986 red short bed step side with LY6 transmision and factory hurst shifter in my garage. LY6 option is the New Process 4 speed overdrive transmission GM used.

Great job! I just picked up an '84 C20, auto, 350 custom deluxe, really straight, one owner California truck. No rust and unmolested, I'll probably keep it for a bit, clean it up really well and sell it. I'm in Mass, west of Boston if anyone's interested. I've been looking around for a while and I love the small-blocks, never a huge fan of the eighties square trucks (always loved 60s/70s all of them) but I'm holding on to the analog world as long as possible. There's something about just sitting in these trucks and just literally breathing them in. I had a '93 F-350 7.3 IH factory turbo diesel, six speed overdrive and it was just way more truck than I needed, but what a sweet rig. I let it go cheap because I'd been given a decent deal on it. Anyway, nice video and tks for posting.

Hey Kyle. I'm finally getting caught up and Yeah, I dig. I know Grandma would love all the work you've put into her old C10, too. That thing is looking mint, especially the grill!😍👌 Something else I want to mention... I appreciate the quality choice of music you put in your videos. A lot of the channels I watch put the sh!ttiest music in their montages and I find myself turning the volume down then having to turn it back up when they start talking again. I never have to do that with your videos... just set it and forget it. It's the little things that I appreciate the most.😅 Sorry for rambling. I'm really enjoying this series, dude. Much respect for going the extra mile or two and doing it right. Have a great weekend.👍

I'm a big fan of the muscle truck style builds, you know - lowered, wider wheels, much more power, etc, etc.
But this is a lovely clean project that I can really appreciate the "getting it just right" aspects of. Nice job man, looking good.

If you have airhorns, get an airbrake gauge from a C60 and mount it in the empty hole in the bottom left. It's 150psi and will look stock and give you an air guage.

I understand you’re after the original look but a set of Detroitsteel 20” delrays would really set the truck off imo. It will still have the original classic look with a bit of a modern touch with the bigger wheels. Either way I’ve been enjoying watching your c10 series. Also where did you order your side view mirrors? I ordered some about 2 months ago and they’re still back ordered.
