I have the mokka t.d.i and yes its orange..😱
I had it for 5 years and has 68000 now I love this car
In the five years I put a new timing belt just to be sure I had a new clutch but found out later I could have left it a bit longer 🤦‍♂️
Oil changes once a year and changed all the bulbs to leds
Had the alloy wheels powder coated black.
Due to the alloys been badly peeling I have added other chrome dacal.
I planning on keeping this mokka don't care what reviews say and the good and bad of the mokka I drivin one for five years and the next car will be a second hand will be a mokk 4x4 ..
    I am not a 1 hour critic ..
Sorry rambling on I found your video interesting 👍🇬🇧

I like the vauxhall logo, I think he is more beautifull than opel logo.

@@BarrieCrampton excellent. Those names are a reminder of the past. My dad had an Opel Rekord in the 70s.

It isn't Isizu motor, it is just "coincident" it has same 1.7 litre capacity, but since early 2000 (I think they've changed it in Astra G/Zafira A ) it is Opel's own development. Quite reliable though.

That engine sounds particularly noisy to me. There is no mistaking that it is a diesel. I have a 1.9 CDTI which is nothing like as noisy.

Its a bit agricultural yes. I used to work for a Vauxhall dealer and this is a tried and tested turbo diesel engine, its been around for years. Very strong engine and very reliable according to the master tech. It makes a good used bargain purchase. The later 1.6 cdti whisper diesel is very quiet but of course, higher prices.

@@oddities-whatnot Why would Vauxhall go from producing a quiet and beautifully smooth revving 1.9 CDTI of 13 years ago to installing this tractor sounding horribly noisy Diesel ? Is that supposed to be progress ??

Have u ever reviewed a Renault Captur diesel, would love u to do one, if u ever get one in garage. I think the Mokka and Captur are both best diesel SUVs 1.5 dci and 1.7 cdti

Good strong engine the 1.7, I like the slightly agricultural sound. Modern diesels can be very quiet in comparison but they dont have the same character. Thats why I like the new Shogun Sport and its 2.4 unit. Some say its noisy but its a good noise in my opinion. I actually dislike very quiet engines, I find them tedious and bland. We should be enjoying hearing engines like this because eventually it will all be electric cars with no character whatsoever :(
