Wouldnt this reduce the distance between the car and the ground? If so wouldn't it add more pressure to the bumper parts of the car? Yes it will help with scrapes but what about bumper tabs and such?
Interesting. Hope you do a real world follow- up. After 1 1/2 years, daily driven North Jersey roads, I have only one very minor scrape on the bottom of the splitter of my 2018 S550 PP1 GT! I do keep a Sticky Note “SPLITTER” on the dash board as a constant reminder! Will consider the Sliplo. Note: I have been using 007 as a tire dressing, DARK but not shiny, looks great. 007 is a “must have” care product. I keep a spray bottle in the trunk in case of bird deposits. Thanks.

yes you can do this on race ramps for sure just take your time and prep the plastic well. I did a follow up video showing how effective it was so check the channel

Unrelated question; do you know why the 350R carbon fiber wheels are white/unpainted on the inside diameter? I just noticed this a couple months ago when looking at an R at a dealership and couldn’t figure out why Ford does that.
the front wheel inner barrels have a special rough texture white high temp ceramic coating to prevent heat issues on the laminations, its not pretty at all and is a bitch to keep clean.
So, without this, are speedbumps (back lane) a problem or steeper inclined driveways? It is one of my concerns with buying the R. Myself, I'd prefer not to install this type of kit (though I get why you have).

best advice do not tune the ECU on this motor with these cheap tunes, 99% of these engine issues are all related to that and abuse and many fail to mention it and some actually do. Even E85 tunes smoke motors. Use good oil and proper upkeep and your fine, i swear i think the media made this Gt350 engine problem so viral so it makes people buy the new Gt500 but anyone with common sense will realize this because look at the timing of it all FYI, how come we didn't see all these viral engine stories 5 years ago and all of a sudden right before the Gt500 is released it happens. total scam in my book
the car does not need any of those parts this also has the new OEM adjustable caster and camber mounts up front. the BMR stuff works amazing on non Gt350 models I feel. As time goes on we will see what I decide to do but I rarely leave any of my cars stock for very long

yea my QV spoiler is scratched well underneath so we will apply these soon to the QV at the shop. it def works and should help many QV owners have done SLiplo and thats how i heard of them
You should have put it out farther your front lip will still contact with the ground first before it hits the SLIPLO! Good thing you can just heat it back up and place it in the corret area so you dont mess your lip up!
this won't prevent the edge from being trashed so I did not want it visible so placed it in about 5/8 so its not visible when the car is on the ground. I did not see your video il check it out later. whatever help this can offer is for sure better than nothing at all I feel. So far I tripped over the front spoiler just walking in front off the car in the garage its so damn low

@@autofanaticcars you must have gotten late 2019 or something with the gt500 font knuckle and steering which helps eliminate the tramlining. I just got a 2019 R and it tramlines and is a joy to keep on the road.

their parts are great but i feel on the Gt350 not to go too crazy as i notice where i drive swapping too many parts creates a much harsher ride. I will have my first drive and impressions video up tomorrow you may be very surprised what I discuss and show you on the drive. I am still shocked to say the least.

The splitter is actually $800, someone on the GT350 Nation facebook group sells them all the time brand new. He actually just sold my buddy a brand new R spoiler for $2200. He now has a new set of R wheels for $5500.
sounds like someone is stealing from the parts bin my dealer looked up the front spoiler and list is over $1700 for the front lip,. surprising lots of sources out there selling OEM parts far cheaper than what a dealer even pays for questions where it comes from and how.
order a kit and use my discount code, yesterday i took the R out and was driving very fast and the road had a sharp dip and the bottom hit and the Sliplo saved the nose.
I have driven them all, I will have my 350R first drive and discussion video up this week so make sure you check that out. I have also driven many PP2 cars.

It’ll look much uglier up on the lift if you have scrapes & gouges. I cringe seeing the scrapes on my carbon splitter so I’m going to install one of these kits before I make it worse...
Unless you track the car, I would change out the R front splitter out for regular GT350 splitter. The R sticks out so much, you will hit a ton of speed bumps along many roads or even pulling into shopping centers.... especially small ones or even gas stations. Then put the R splinter back on when you take it to the track. But I do love the way it looks....
You're not using fuck nuts on those carbon fiber's are ya? ......... We have the same color R but mine is with black stripes - 2018........ chassis # jr131.
OMG i absolutely hate seeing the Mopar guys driving around thinking that actually looks cool, would love to see the guy who made that a popular trend. it does not look good or cool in any way

I have it on my AMG and it saved me going to the gas station; when pulling in on an angle it still scraped.
Auto Fanatic, great decision to install the SLIPLO to your R. I have it installed on my GT350, it protected my splitter many times already now.
Did you have to take the spoiler off to install these?
Are you going to do all of the suspension piece upgrades with BMR etc? Would be interested to see if it makes any difference on the R

You must have seen the review I did of sliplo skip plate on my gt350R!! Its a great product! just make sure you really stuck it down good!
You should have put it out farther your front lip will still contact with the ground first before it hits the SLIPLO! Good thing you can just heat it back up and place it in the corret area so you dont mess your lip up!

in FL you can do anything and it will be perfect up this way its really risky. the Bullitts are cool cars

TheBlaze489 those are not oem splitters no way they are half price. Somebody on Facebook was making their own copy of the R splitter. New oem is $1500
