      He'd probably give you a long (but presumably amusing) lecture about weight distribution and maximum grip for a shopping cart. Hell, I bet he'll use a monster truck as an analogy to prove his point.

      oooining Their ignition and head-to-head episodes come to TH-cam after they premiere on their own network, a few weeks later. I wouldn't call it disgusting, it's business. If they aren't making enough money from TH-cam, that difference has to come from somewhere. What would you suggest they do?

      @TerryTerius 7 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Gavin Irvine well, that goes to the challenges of making high-quality content on the Internet. Salomondrin can afford to make ridiculously expensive banging gears episodes because he and his friends have extremely deep pockets. It isn't cheap to produce content like that, and we're both asking for high-quality content and not expecting to pay for it. Same way that people want free news, but also demand thorough investigative journalism. And now we run pop up blockers, it's a cut off the one source of funding that these websites actually have.
      At some point, something has to give. Ad prices for Internet services are falling, so at some point you have to start charging. And if not, we will just have to accept that you get what you pay for.

    I've always had a soft spot for the Mustang since my First Car was a '66 Mustang w/289. I got it in 1973 so it wasn't an "old" or "classic" Car at the time. Sure, the generation one Mustangs were sort of a Ford Falcon with a really cool body and interior. It did NOT handle very well and the brakes were tiny and useless at any sort of high speeds but I learned how to drive it and never put a scratch on her. With a 4-bbl Carb and Headers I got it up from 214 hp to 255 hp which was respectable back in those days. I later went on to be a MOPAR/BMW guy but still have fond relationship with the Mustang. I had a 2006 Mustang for a short time and it was faster with its stock V6 than my '66 ever was, it also handled better and actually had Brakes! I would like to say that I hold Randy Pobst in high regard and value his opinion. A REAL car guy that knows how to drive. Thanks!

Just look how a N/A corvette grand sport can keep up with a twin turbo 911 GT3 Porsche, or how the Z06 and ACR are two of the worlds fastest cars both faster than a Porsche 911 GT3, and the new ZL1 is a game changer. Not to mention the worlds fastest sedan from our boys at caddy CTS-V

      Peak Performance Reviews do you have any credentials to back the opinions in the reviews? Or any resources to properly test them.. Cause it seems like every other day i find a channel where some random joe found a couple go pros and posts videos of himself in someone else's car... And people think these are considered "reviews"...
      I ask because it seems like your channel belongs to one of those joe's, but I thought i'd ask...who knows, maybe youve written for magazines or a veteran in gentlemen races and such...doubtul but possible

    after spending 125k on a Porsche Cayman GTS, i feel some slight buyers remorse when looking at cheaper options like this GT350 that sounds like its very fun as well. Dont get me wrong, the Cayman GTS, is absolutely entertaining with great sound, fast speed, smooth and luxury everywhere and at the same time incredibly sporty. But definitely would have been just as entertained (maybe slightly less than the gts) with many other cars that are much cheaper. And then i could have bought myself a ricer winter car instead of the struggle i have now...

      Jesus H Medrano its crazy to see how cheap these muscle cars are getting these days. Especially Ford who lived thru the crisis (unlike gm) by low prices, low margins, and low costs. I never truly liked muscle cars because they looked big and are unagile, which is why ive always liked sports coupes, but man. this gt350 is something else isnt it. And the base mustangs and v6 mustangs are so damn cheap too. definitely picking one up in the future

      ***** yea but then the thing comes down to not neceesarily performance. Its the quality too and stability. Idk how to explain it, but european cars just last longer in my personal experience and i trust them more. I only buy american or european cars so idk about japanese cars but i hear they are fairly reliable too? All the american cars in my experience were just average or below average in stability, reliability, and durability. So in teh past few years ive been mostly switching to euro cars. But man something like this Gt350 is just insane. At the same time you also buy euro cars for the "tag". Basically to show ppl you got money to blow haha. Plus Porsche, McLarens, Ferrarris all look very unique too, not that the mustangs dont, but preference. Id take a Porsche over mustang because of the classic look, but id take a mustang over McLaren because i dont like super cars at all

    • @SHELBYFORUM
      @SHELBYFORUM 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ZDY I suggest a GT350 and a used Porsche 997S - you could have both for less than the price of the Cayman GTS - I went this route and never bored. You need the Porsche AND the GT350 believe me.

    Not a fan of GT350R but I wanna say that Carlo+ Randy are much better in ignition and head 2 head. One is pro racer other is much serious than Johnny and Jason. Just look at the GT-R vs NSX and M4 GTS review. Damn.... I don't even know what I'm watching..

      How much does a Nismo cost? GT350R is the bang for buck track car and the GTR can only beat it possibly where there are longer straits because the GT350R could be the best handling production car right now considering the only cars that beat it have a power to weight advantage.

    • @pascalmpower7944
      @pascalmpower7944 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't care how much a nismo cost in your country, a nismo cost cheaper than GT350R here in my place. Also, no, straight line isn't where nismo can do better. Are you new to cars? But anyway, that isn't my point. So I will leave you here

      Sorry but Mustangs and Camaros are beating the best european and Japanese corner carvers right now. Nismo GTR is $175000.00 and a GT350R is $65000.00. Where do you live that makes a Nismo less than a GT350R? The GTR also has 600hp and semi auto transmission compared to the Mustangs 526hp and manual transmission, so yes the GTR gets it's advantages in the straits.

    Dear Ford,
    This a fine example of appreciating a vehicle for its motor. The Flat-plane 5.2L V8 experience cannot be replace by a more powerful Eco-boost. I say the same about the motor in my 2k1Cobra. Half of the video is about how amazing the motor is, so why hobble the new Raptor with the Eco-boost experience? Hate to do it, but until I hear about a V8 Raptor I'm going Ram Rebel TRX.

      how is the ecoboost more powerful? Interesting how difficult it is for some to separate the concepts of forced induction and engine configuration. Again, the Cobra has been a forced induction motor for the last 13 years, so try not to confuse the two.The Previous Cobra put out 662HP with boost, so again, explain in detail, please. In the end, people still pay 15K for a Rolex when accurate time keeping can be had for $30, and the V8, forced or not, is still KING.This is about V8s and enjoyment, not BOOST.

      It was perfectly constructive criticism. Two guys sitting in a car for 20minutes is not going to work very well in todays world of reviews. Even Farah's One Takes can sometimes feel stretched. The only one so far who somehow manages it IMO is Harry (Harrys garage). But he does it systematically, outside,inside,this, that.
