New follower here thank for this I bought my car with the letters on and they stated to peel off. Got a new pack wasn’t sure how to put them on but now I do 😁👍🏼

Aside from running out of canned air after the first letter and using regular tap water over distilled I followed the rest of the steps to the T. I hope not using distilled will cause any adverse effects. I have not washed since the install, so we shall see Friday when I do. Thanks for taking time for doing the tutorial, it was most helpful. Disclaimer: the letter that gave me the most fits was the Y.

I found that using a credit card or similar card you can slightly adhere the vinyl to the edge of the card and drag and drop the vinyl in. Lightly glide, using the card, left to right and it drag / glides the vinyl across and falls into place

Great video! But man it was hard to watch the way you pulled the S off the backing paper, haha. Grab the center and pull it up to keep the shape, it'll make dropping it in place a lot smoother.

The R spoiler letters are a tad bigger than the regular 350 splitter. I only know one guy who sells them with correct size. That's Bemaro Films. I got them in white from him then ordered another set in white dome with red outline and placed those on top. The mix of the two looks totally awesome. Haven't seen them in any 350 yet. I suggest with R to get them from Bemaro

I was about to buy it but $30 for 6 stickers?!! I think I'll just make a template, use a solid sticker sheet and cut letters with an x-acto knife. However, thanks for the prep.
way too much time if you think you can cut these by hand forget it spend the $30 or mask and paint them on.
Any alternative to the 3M primer? Im trying to do mine today but cant find the 3M 94 primer in ANY stores :/
not really but if you cant wait make sure you use the heat gun to get a better bond but the 3M primer really ensures long term adhesion

How would I properly prep if my splitter is ceramic coated?
hmmmm you would need to carefully use some sort of abrasion technique in the recess its easy to do if you mask out the perimeter and use some 3M Purple 400 grit or 600 grit paper
I still find it crazy that on the gt350r a very expensive mustang, still has halogen fog/parking lights.. crazy. I saw it on the gt500 also.

Are the shelby letters on the GT350R larger than a GT350 ?
i do not think they are i highly doubt Ford made a specific tool and die for both splitters thats too costly for Ford in the long run

well it rides more Cadillac like for some reason so yes around local roads i do enjoy it and the LOUD stereo system it came with.

there is really not much difference between the two unless you want the carbon fiber wheels, that was why I did the swap.
Auto Fanatic I was glad to hear you say that . Something I always wondered , the R’s were way overpriced at the time . I had an ‘18 GT350 that I traded for a ‘17 Corvette Grand Sport . Only thing I miss is all that GRIP . The Vette can get tail happy .
I gotta respectfully disagree on that, I've owned both and maybe it's so cold up where you are that you can't get t cup2's hot enough to stick, but the R feels 1k lbs lighter on it's toes. This is due to the CF wheels, and minimal other weight reductions including the CF wing and larger splitter which improve handling along with the suspension programming tweaks and spring finetunements. The resonator delete makes the exhaust sound much more juicy and intoxicating...
Add the exclusivity and it's a lot better car for 10K more
