    This is a very exciting video about the almost forgotten ESP8266 01 Wi-Fi modules. These modules are very much used to have a Wi-Fi feature in standalone Arduino projects but with more powerful boards like the NodeMCU and ESP32 in the market, this board is now often ignored.
    Join me in this mini video series where we explore the various powerful but rather unexplored features of this little board.
    In this video I show you how an ESP8266-01 module can interface with an I2C GPIO expander IC and control various LED patterns via IoT using the Blynk application.

    Thanks for this video...looking forward for i2c and thingspeak server using esp01, using i2c sensor. Should be interesting, is that possible?

    Just one question... How the multiple i2c addressing capability of the IC is helpful, I mean, in what kind of situations, we can utilise that feature?

      Multiple IC can be daisy chained to create a total of 64 I/O pins which can be used to control LED matrix,hook up displays following SPI protocol and add multiple sensors
