I bought the pranayama based on your review a few months ago and have not used my bicycle since :D It’s an amazing board and even distances of about 25km go by so fast.
Oh great, you did it again. You made me buy a board 😂 First the Dop Hammer, now this one. Seriously, for a guy like me, who just got into longboarding, your videos are top notch man. You're my first go-to for any kind of information about anything longboarding related! Keep it up, you rock!

@@LongboardingExplained Still love it and it is my absolute favourite board. It's incredibly reliable and so smooth to ride. One of the best purchase decisions I ever made :)
Prana has that magic carpet ride for sure! You absolutely relayed that feeling of zen the board gives you. One thing I love about Pantheon’s double drop lineup is that if you get a complete, it really is the first rate package. An actual “complete” in the sense that the trucks and wheels are a perfect fit and part of a whole rather than “just okay” components you’ll want to upgrade soon. I realize folks make other choices for good reason, but the stock setup is going to work so well for most.

Really great video and I really loved to see the different environments you rode that board and how well you navigated through the cows! I've ordered my first double drop deck (Loaded Pantheon Trip Collab) and really looking forward to have a commuter board low to the ground. My knees will thank me.
Has anybody tried Dad Bod 105mm 80a wheels on this (or other over 100m harder wheels?)? Thinking, of updating 92mm 74a Karmas little big bigger and harder for hoping better rolling atributes.

Excellent channel and excellent review. I have just tested the Pantheon Pranayama (a beauty). It should fit perfectly the longboarding program of an old dude like me.
I feel the same about my Zenit AB 2.0 with RKP Paris 150mm trucks and 88 wheels. I think the 150mm truck and 88wheel set ends up being the perfect width for a 9" wide board. a very natural stride is easy to maintain with this board or the zenit.
Thanks brother, always wanted one of these but might have to go with the ember due to my weight. Talked to Jeff about it and it should be ok but we will see.

Just got mine today and man it’s a dream. I have a drop cat 38 on cags and I’m not sure how much I’ll ride it now
This is definitely one of the drop thru completes that I'd consider for a drop through commuter board.
I'd prefer longer wheelbase and stiffer though.

Thank you for making this video. I saw it and I was impressed. It made me wanna go and buy one so I did and now I love it. I have to say I think you’re completely right about it being a masterpiece. It’s definitely my favourite board and I have some pretty good ones. I’m thinking about selling all of the other ones and I’m just keeping the pranayama and the loaded trip collaboration which I also love. But if I had to keep just one board, it would be the pranayama all day long. Peace and love

I would think you're laying it on thick if I hadn't also fallen in love with Pantheon boards lately. They are indeed masterpieces and I agree that the distance just disappears under your feet. The McFly wheels are also as good as you say

I can confirm everything you said. My Prana is my favorite among my longboards.

Great review! i just ordered this board. will be the first board for me that doesn't have any nose or tail to pick it up quickly. is it possible to leverage the board upwards by putting you weight on the end of one of the trucks?

That may be your best review to date. It really gives a awesome perspective of the entire gear and it is great to watch, that's a video that a non skater would enjoy watching and at the same time has great insights about gear specific parts. Great content man, keep it up!
One question, I'm more of a freeride guy myself, I would like to know how the slide on the panayana compares to other drop-throught boards, since it is more LDP oriented?
not the best for sliding, you can do checks, but it feels weird

I've put anti-risers between the truck and the Prana to lower it even further. It feels like you are floating just off the ground and makes pushing so easy it's like cheating. Great board.
Same. I also used Independent trucks to lower it another 8mm as well
@LongboardingExplained I'm facing a tough choice and I'd appreciate your advice. I am starting longboarding and I'm riding my friend's board. Looking to buy my first, this one is the dream board for me. But the Landyachtz Drop Hammer is more in my budget. It also looks cool but all things consider doesn't move me nearly as much as this one. I know that the Pranayama is not necessarily a first board but I don't want to have several boards, just one that is really good for me. What do you suggest? Should I save up for this one or get the Drop Hammer instead? Thank you for your reply and for this inspiring video!

How do you find this compares to the drop cat 33? Been looking at that as my first board but this sounds brilliant however is more expensive.
Nice video thanks! I was wondering what trucks you are using. They look like street trucks. I have the trip collab with 165’s. 50*. I’m thinking about trying the 43* in the back. Any thoughts?
yup, Paris street trucks. Trip collab with 43* in the back is a good option

Hi! Great review! But how it compare to the LY Drop Cat?
I’m not the uploader, but I have both the Prana and DC 38. As a beginner in longboarding, I find it very easy to learn the basics on both but I much prefer the Pranayama. I’d say it’s the best board I own atm - special thanks to Longboarding Explained, and this video made me buy it and it’s soooo worth it!
It’s lower to the ground than the Drop Cat, and this makes it easier to learn pushing and footbraking, and I find the flat deck double-drop design more comfortable for my ankles than rocker, personally. Even though it’s shorter than the Drop Cat, it feels just as roomy. I’d say the Prana is also more stable yet can turn better. I really like the wheels too, the 86mm McFlys feels like it can go through any terrain, even more than the Plow Kings! Like others have said, it’s like skating on clouds with this board, and I found myself going 15kms without feeling tired.
Slight downside to the Prana is the lack of kicktail, so while it’s possible to do it like the start of the video, it can take a bit of effort. Trade-off is that if the board slips and hits a wall, it’ll hit the wheels instead of the deck.
So yeah, can’t go wrong with either, but the Pranayama is just something special.
