My experience with these wheels for the last six months is about the same as yours. I've put maybe 400-500 miles on them including around 125 miles at Miami Ultraskate. When I first started riding them they felt a bit slow and sticky in the warm weather, but they improved with use. I just love the way they handle rough pavement. I've been using them on my Pantheon Supersonic, but at one point I compared them briefly to a set of blue Kegels and some Mint/Mango Seismic Alpha speed vents I had on hand. The 80 mm Alphas seemed faster and the Kegels were almost as comfy, but neither set inspired me enough to stay with them for very long. As for durability there is no chunking whatsoever on the McFlys. I'm told that the McFly pro wheels are faster but harder, and some seem to like them better. As for the future, I'm looking forward to trying out the yet to be released Pantheon LDP wheels that I've heard will be around 92 mm and narrower than usual.

Awesome, thank you for sharing, I like to see other peoples experiences on the wheels I review. I am hype on the pantheon wheels, let's see if I can get my hands on a set to review when they come out!

Great review. I’ve been looking forward to your opinion on these. I think I’ll try them out as a replacement for blue caguamas. Well done and thanks.

Yeah I was watching a video by Jay traveling with bicycles and I thought for sure he was riding a bike too as he was keeping up with everyone and even passing other cyclists. Only later did I realize he was actually on his longboard.

Are these wheels more durable for cruising than for example caguamas or boa? Im looking for good wheels on the softer side but kinda scared of ripping sides of them too fast. As i heard blue caguamas chip easily(?). Great video☺️!

Aye, thank you for watching! They are more durable than caguamas I can say. I think they will be just about even with boas for durability.

that eternal struggle to find the right amount of softness for rough pavement while also giving as much speed/glide as possible... -thanks for your insights

@@Mr.MeetJay thanks man, your reviews of the Boas, Otangs and McFlys have proved super useful!! Hearin them compared, by someone who has put a lotta miles on them. 👌🏼👌🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I just ordered a set of the new Boa v3 90mm, softer 74a. I tried Dad Bods and didn't enjoy them as much as my Blue Cags - my current favourite. I will likely sell the Dad Bods, a lotta people like them, but I wasn't super impressed.
