Climate Message from the Poles: Antarctic Ice Shelves Are Thinning & Collapsing

Ice shelves are like aprons of ice that surround the large Antarctic Ice Sheet. They are thinning and weakening due to both our warming atmosphere and our warming oceans which is causing them to collapse. Climate change is the cause of rapid warming in Antarctic, which is melting and destabilizing this critical areas. The melting ice will impact us all. But there is still time to for you to create change! Our Polar Ambassadors share some tips and ideas!
