I love Eddie's voice so much. Has this really unique own sound. Amazingly soothing deep and beautifully high. Cutting distortion, strong and angry sounding in the one second and so fragile in the other. Not to mention that Eddie Vedder probably also is the most attractive individual I've ever seen.
Ya I hear I'm still alive 🥴. It's good to be alive and listening to the band that sparked an energy into my life 32 years ago on my first date with my wife when she asked if I would put this new CD in my CD player in my 64 VW bug ☺️ rest is history as I married that woman and now have 5 amazing daughters 28 yrs to 15 yrs old. I’ve got a cool story about Eddie Vedder. First I worked for an insurance company back in the day in the special lines field and remember actually speaking to Eddie about his boat policy! He said enjoyed calling instead of his agent! Very down to Earth and later we were able to meet at a Seattle Pearl Jam show so he was able to put a face to the voice on the phone 📱. ILL NEVER FORGET IT! RIP CHRIS CORNELL. The Seattle scene in the early 1990’s is unsurpassed by anything going on today!
There is no pop, emo, or any other type band today that could get up there, perform, and be this raw and sound this good these days! No one! This is real fucking music, real talent! No computers to make the artist sound good! Just raw talent that's unbelievable!
That performance of Wash was absolutely insane. The entire thing was. Eddie’s voice is otherworldly. I love all of them and they all amaze me every time but Eddie really blew me away in this one.
I just discovered them and i for some reason cant stop crying. When he pulls away from the mic only to yell his heart out I just cant help but do the same from the inside.
Welcome to the Jamily. It’s great to see new people discovering Pearl Jam. There are hundreds of their bootleg videos here on TH-cam from their very first concert Oct. 1990, up to this year. Pinkpop ‘92 and their mtv unplugged set are iconic. And I highly recommend ‘Release’ live in Holland 1992. Enjoy!
They’ve been in my realm for years but I have recently given them more attention and completely understand what you mean. I seriously cry now when I listen to certain songs and love the “Release” I feel afterwards. So happy that they’re still around and would love to see them live one day. Man I love this! Too bad I was only six years old in '91, a bit to young to witness Pearl Jam live 😅. So happy there is this kind of footage of their early 90ies days, in my opinion the best Pearl Jam era ❤️❤️❤️

Best acoustic PJ set I’ve stumbled into yet; because of the mix, it serves as a showcase for the 1991 version of EV’s 500-megaton voice. They all look pretty happy up there, too. Thanks to the 1991 recorder and the modern uploader for making it available!
