Such an icon! There is no typecasting her. From The Flying Nun, to Sybil, to Smokey, Not Without My Daughter, Soapdish... She can do anything! There's no stopping her!
I thought Sally was criminally underrated in Soapdish. It’s one of my favorite movies; terrific cast, great writing, and it doesn’t get talked about as much as it should. Sally was hilarious in the movie.
i saw that when it first came out and loved it. it's really a shame that didn't get to make a sequel to it cause it was going to be made and was in development i think it was some months off from starting to film. i can't remember if they had a script yet or not than Robin Died and so did the movie.i dunno what my favorite role of her is, Eye for an and old one from (1996) is a damn good movie too
Mrs. Doubtfire's merit as a movie relies solely on Robin Williams and Pierce Brosnan's dynamics: Pierce is so campy on his role, contrasting with the pettiness of Robin's character, it's the highlight of the movie. Sally Field is just a supporting character, that movie cliché of the distraught housewife...
Sally fields is in the same category as Meryl Streep, regarding acting. Because, Ms. Field's has worked hard at her craft to achieve that position, and it shows. Stay well Ms. Field's
i love love Sally Field and i have never sen Norma Rae but i will at some point. Temporary you are right 100% for a woman in her 70's she's still a looker.
@Stimpson J. Kat : OMG... you’ve not yet seen _Norma Rae_ ? Wow... you really should see it. Fabulous movie and Sally nailed her role. Just _nailed it_.
Saw Smokey and The Bandit when I was 11 years old at a drive-in and I fell in love 3 times that night. 1st with Sally Field (she was/is so cute). 2nd was with that car. mark my words, one day I will own one in mint condition. And 3rd was with Burt Reynolds (easy,it was just a bromance). A very good actress. R.I.P. Burt.
Oh how I 💘 Miss Sally. I thought Miss Sally was to die for in the film Soapdish. I loved her in the red dress that she was wearing in the beginning of the film. Also I 💘ed her in Steel Magnolias. It just tears me apart to see Miss Sally so crushed & 💔 over the loss of her daughter who was played by Miss Julia Roberts. Then of course there is Smokey and The Bandit. I so enjoyed the chemistry between Mr. Burt & Miss Sally. I also own The Amazing Spiderman 1&2. Miss Sally made a wonderful Aunt May. There are just so many that I could go on forever, I shall stop here. Don't care to much for Howard Stern, but it gave me a chance to see Miss Sally. So as my aunt use to tell me, "You have to take the bitter with the sweet". 🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹💘🌹
I love Sally Field. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't like her. I watched her in "The Flying Nun" when I was a kid. She never seems to want to talk about that show. I understand.
Just read her book. The problem with "getting to know" actors is that they belie the characters they played onscreen and sometimes turn out to be not very nice people.
Class, pure class, amazing actor, and still one of the most beautiful woman alive.
I wish there were more parts to this interview such a legend
Gorgeous, even at 73. Always thought she was delightful.
Indeed.
But to be clear, she's not 73 in this video. She's 69.
@@DigitalBathInAZ No, I know lol I was just saying even today she's aging nicely.
Damm didn't know she was 73. She looks in her early 50's
What a beautiful lady inside and out. Just love her acting.
I adore this woman. Her and dolly are my favs. Love how they are being appreciated lately.
Howard knows the questions to ask. Great interview.
Such an icon! There is no typecasting her. From The Flying Nun, to Sybil, to Smokey, Not Without My Daughter, Soapdish... She can do anything! There's no stopping her!
*Class act! We love you Sally.*
One of my favourite actors I love her
Howard show interview is the best hands down. Relaxed setting makes the guests more comfortable.
She made me bawl when she broke down in the funeral scene in Steel Magnolias. Yeah, I admit it.
This actor can play any character and be very convincing. Mrs. Fields is an icon.
I love Sally Field. Howard is a great interviewer.
Humility is so attractive..
Sally Field is so real and down to earth and wow she looks amazing for her age.
I thought Sally was criminally underrated in Soapdish. It’s one of my favorite movies; terrific cast, great writing, and it doesn’t get talked about as much as it should. Sally was hilarious in the movie.
I frikken love smokey amd the bandit. One of my all time favs lol
I remember this interview, she was delightful.
If you were a heterosexual male and alive in the days of Smokey and the Bandit you had a crush on Sally Field.
Big Fan and she still looks great after all these years!!!!
Mrs. Doubtfire is one of my favorite movies, robin and sally did so well, they even threw james bond into the love triangle!

Forrest: What’s my destiny, Mama?
Mrs. Gump: You’re gonna have to figure that out for yourself
Sally killed it in ER TV show

OMG!! I just noticed the Eric the Midget flying with balloons on Robins desk. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

Wonderful lady 🙂
I love Sally Field. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't like her. I watched her in "The Flying Nun" when I was a kid. She never seems to want to talk about that show. I understand.
Gidget rules!
She’s so hot. Glad to see Sally😊
Gosh she's cute!
Big Enus (Jackie Gleason) and Little Enus (Paul Williams) we’re brilliant!
Jackie Gleason wasnt Big Enus. Fyi
Howard does interrupt people..but I think it's because he's so excited to get the thought out...lol
America’s sweetheart
Ok she’s still beautiful and a great actress but damn she was so hot
I'm dying Forest....
Can’t believe she agreed to come on here lol
Just read her book. The problem with "getting to know" actors is that they belie the characters they played onscreen and sometimes turn out to be not very nice people.
Her book was pretty good. She also named names regarding skeevy occurances in her life which was admirable. Always loved her❤
😍
Hes said you "played a hot chick" no howard, she was a hot chick...
Mrs doubtfire is her best role
What a long career.
She was cute ... Aging well too ...

I miss classy Actors/Actresses like this.
