My grandmother watched women fight for voting, birth control and equality. Went from riding in a horse drawn wagon to driving a car. She saw the invention of the television to landing on the moon. Sadly left us just when the internet was taking off.

@@Trilly007 she is a traitor! She went to North Vietnam & “entertained” our enemies. That resulted in our POW’s in Hanoi getting excessive torture and death because they tried to give Jane a note with their serial numbers to the military would know who was alive in Hanoi.

Totally agree, but as weird as it is to think about, the cast of Sex and the City would be more age appropriate for most of the Golden Girls. (I mean let's not do that, ever, just a point of reference.) Grace and Frankie definitely has Golden Girls vibes.
Also imagine being on set and Sally Field says " hi I'm Sally does anyone want any coffee" This is a Icon introducing herself and serving coffee. I would of been star struck.
She's very much like Tom Brady in that regard. Whenever he meets new people, especially new teammates, he walks up to them and says HI, I'm Tom Brady. Everyone knows who he is but he introduces himself like he's just one of the guys. I can't wait to see this movie!

@@Sunny-kg3bi I’ve lost two husband to cancer, making it to old age seems to be a feat in itself. I’m now older than my dad was when he passed. Time sure flies. It seems like yesterday Rita was a young girl. She looks wonderful.

It really was a fun interview. I love these actresses and am amazed at their ages. I remember watching Sally Field in The Flying Nun tv series so that's pretty much telling everyone I'm no spring chicken!

I've been watching talk shows for over 60 yrs. and that was one of the greatest talk show moments ever. Funny, brilliant, vital women at every age.
These four women will forever have my heart. Everything they do comes direct from love and they are so very special. I will definitely be going to see 80 With Brady.

An absolutely true story, some Missouri cowboy guys I'm good friends with were in Montana working for a millionaire guy named Terry Braxton. My friends were in a restaurant in Montana & in walked Ted Turner & Jane Fonda. Ted said where do you wanna sit? Jane said Well you can sit anywhere you want, but I am sitting with the cowboys! She did and they all had a great time. Not sure whatever happened to Ted. LOL. If you need names & phone numbers to verify this story, I got that. Thank you Jane for giving a bunch of Missouri Cowboy construction dudes such a great memory and for making them feel so special.

In real life there were five ladies, five friends, that inspired this movie 80's for Brady. There are two remaining and living independently, ages 94 and 95. They have not met Brady live and as recently as last week expressed a great desire to meet him. It is my hope Brady will pay them a live visit and give them a couple of jerseys. They are also stars and should not be overlooked...

My father served in Vietnam & I am nothing but grateful & proud of him & every soldier who served. We all owe our freedom to our military. Those who died & those who came home. ❤️🇺🇸

I LOVE THESE 4 so much! I could listen to them for hours. Lily was the Keynote Speaker at a conference I was at in New Orleans in ‘04. She was HILARIOUS! She made a joke out of EVERYTHING. She is just one of the greatest standups ever!

Jimmy - I saw the 60 Minutes interview with the actual ladies who are the 80 for Brady members that are still rooting for Tom. I love the idea of this movie and I'm glad it was made, but the travesty of it all is after it's all said and done, these ladies has still have not met Tom Brady. They were invited and attended the premier for this movie, but Tom did not go. Jimmy - can you make this happen? Maybe Lily, Jane, Sally and Rita can help you with this? Bring these wonderful ladies to Hollywood? Get them all Glammed up and let them meet the team? Tom and Gronk especially? I think Hollywood and these movie stars owe it to them. Just sayin!

I am so glad the movie industry is recognizing the relevance of these women to entertainment. It's long overdue, when I think of the likes of Betty White, Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, and everyone one of these women on stage. We need more roles for mature women, besides the second class family member.
