I really didnt know this is actually a method that existed!!!Trust me it works and to me it's the easiest...give it a try....You will love the end results!!

What I get with this new method, it first started with passion twists to look like a freshly retwisted set of LOCS I noticed this when women were getting starter locs and it would be a coil at the root then a two strand twist then a few months later it was being done with tuyos now with box braids, faux locs and any and all other styles similar. I love the progression and creativity!!!! In love with this. This looks AMAZINGGGGGG. 🔥🔥

The knot at the top is what people where trying to get away from when the twist at root method first came out, I am surprised the knot method is back in fashion.
With the knot people know you are wearing fake hair but being knot aka invisible knot lmbo it look like a person natural hair but me personally I prefer the knot
I first did this in 2020 accidentally when trying to do faux locs. I'd just done big chop 599...lol..but never came back to it until this year. I braid down an inch, crochet the hair in, wrap, and twist. I actually alternate between twisting and wrapping since my natural hair is super fine and soft. I don't like them too long or to use too much extension hair. My goal is to acheive mini twists I rocked from 2005-2009 but now using extension hair for fullness and added length. I prefer twists over braids as the take down is so much quicker.

I do my own hair. I notice that the rubberband method does hold it taut and lasts a lil longer than when I do as you did with starting with the braid. My question is what works so that my hair is not coming through the twists after a few days? I won’t call out brands that claim to deliver but I will say I’ve used almost all of those brands and they do not keep my hair from unraveling in the twists after a few days. 😔😔😔
I never rarely comment on videos, but your tutorial was amazing. Very clear and precise, explaining each step thoroughly, and going slow enough for us to see what you're doing! This is the first tutorial I didn't have to go and watch over and over because the steps were too fast.
It’s possible but it may be a challenge, you’ll have to go pretty slow in order to get those wraps neat and precise. 😬 if you do end up trying it lmk how it goes !
Cute. My hair didn't even last a week. Is that enough product on the hair? I see people coat the while hair before twisting. Just wondering if it would work better. My hair was coming through. I had to retwist within a few days finally I took down on my trip.😢

The wrapping method is an old way we always use to braid back in African... For years and years

A rubber band or burn the ends. Rubber bands on roots does nothing but break hair off or make it too tight
