Hey love! I know this video is older however I just wanted to give some feedback on why the twist, don’t stay tight. Before anyone start a twist check and make sure that both strands are facing the same direction so that when you loop them they will loop as one. if you have the twist and they are not parallel or facing the same direction when you finish you’re going to have that crinkly bumpy look on your twist if that makes sense. But your hair is beautiful and I love it! Try that next time and see if that makes a difference. ❤️
I did mine the same it turned out good...it was easy...however my sides and back were once shaved so I struggled picking up but it pretty and a lot neater... thanks lady 😁

Girl I am planning on doing this method whenever I try to do some on my own. I do not trust that rubber band method. If I do I only need to leave it in for a week or two. But I am going to do the braid method. I thing that would work better for me.
Your natural hair is a good length for these. Guess I’ll have to grow mine out a little longer and hopefully I’ll be ready by the summer.

I'm going to try your method because I have been unsuccessful in trying to add hair to my twists for fullness and protective styling. Your hair is beautiful, and thank you for preaching the truth about using rubber bands. I feel you on that! No rubber bands for me either. But to each his/her own. 💐💐
