I have watched Christian on OTC for a couple years . This hit me hard. I had no idea. Watching you and your wife sit in front of a camera , giving transparency in the details of what comes with this, is giving me reasons to rethink my attitude and fears. I’m so proud of you two for doing this! Christian , I have to say , you look great. I know the hand , eye, and leg thing is more troubling than we are able to see, but you both look beautiful. I love the glasses! Christian, if there is one silver lining in this, it’s that you have found a companion who loves and cherishes you. She is obviously there “through sickness and health”. Mortality is a shitty thing to face. I cried when you talked about your shower experiences. Its those stupid things we all take for granted. Then suddenly a simple thing like washing your own hair is proving challenging. I felt your anguish and pain. I am your biggest cheerleader right now. Man , I’m really pulling for team Christian. This has helped me …..and thousands of others in so many ways. Thank you for sharing. We all will face declining health at some point , and its things like this post that truly help people know they aren’t alone. Much love , John

I've always had an aversion to the term "the new normal". It wasn't until I experienced various life events that I came to realize the depth of the sentiment and actually embrace it. Your transparency and grit through this all has me in complete awe. If nothing else, my hope is that you fully grasp the fact that are surrounded by troves of those who love you and wish it could all be whisked away. The new normal right now? Accepting that you are loved by so many, for so many reasons...💕

I love you both….maybe strange since we don’t really know each other but ever since I “met” Kristian through OTC I have felt this love. Just a warm gratitude and uplifment. Lots of tears flowing upon watching this. Your trip is done but I have an image in my mind of the two of you on the beach looking out into the big ocean and sky just soaking it in. May that big love sustain you when you need it. Thank you for sharing, for honesty, for realness. ❤
I just got home from emergency room & saw this video. I praying for you both. Hang in there Love & laughter are great healers & you both that in spades. I have lost the use of my legs & confined to a wheelchair so I know the shock of suddenly becoming disabled...it sucks for sure. Keep loving & laughing . Sending my love & prayers.
