    I feel like even if Skyler and Walt Jr knew that Walt wasn't technically the one who shot and killed Hank. They would still understand that Hank was shot and killed by someone who was working with Walt and Hanks death was still Walts fault.

    • @astragalusson
      @astragalusson ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I think Walter Jr and Marie thinks Walt directly killed Hank because of that phone call Walt actually talked like he killed Hank. Skyler might be thinking it's not the case or at least doubting it. But I don't think there was a point for Skyler to tell a different story to Walter Jr or Marie because first of all it wouldn't be believable to them, as there's already a trust issue between her and them. But more importantly, she's going along with Walt's phone call story while talking to the police, she has to. She can't tell different narrative to Marie or Walter Jr while doing that, as they will probably share what Skyler said with the police.

I definitely think Gretchen cheated on Walter with elliot,but there's no proof for it. I can't believe how many gullible Stans miss this. He got blue balls for his 50th birthday and washed his bratty student's car. He just wanted to be the big man for once. "Family" was the excuse. She’s right, Walt had a relationship with Gretchen, she left him for Eliot because they had more compatible lives, and Walt was out.
    When Walt told that story to Jessy we the audience knows he’s omitting details because we’ve seen stuff Jessy wasn’t around for, like all of Walt’s flashbacks.
    There’s also a subtext that Walt doesn’t get along with his own mom, which could also have been part of why Gretchen chooses Eliot over him..
    It is also mentioned Skyler was Walter’s rebound from Gretchen...

    • @MrTambourineMan.
      @MrTambourineMan. ปีที่แล้ว

      Why was Hank trying to arrest Walt? It’s not like Walt didnt almost get him killed twice, bomb a nursing home, and poison a little kid.
      if youre Hank Jr maybe you would disown your farther for putting you in danger and lying for a year. For becoming a drug kingpin when your brother in law is a DEA agent. And knowing that Walt had a job offer from those really nice people that paid for his cancer treatment but instead chose this life.
      How he made Skyler look like a monster and just stood by while he could have told Jr the truth.
      It’s really hard not to understand Jr’s perspective. I don’t even see how a different upbringing would produce a different outlook. Walt played a dangerous game for his ego and it blew up in the families face. Jack wasn’t working in the drug business, so if Walt didn’t become a meth distributor none of this ever even has a chance of happening.

    The editing at times is super frustrating, Rather than include a vital part of the plot as to why Jesse would carry on cooking for them with Andrea dead, you cut over Jack saying "Don't forget, there's still the kid" - so we can hear Sophie saying "I don't support that message" to Jack saying "settle down" to jesse after having an innocent mum killed in cold blood - Really? The timing of cutting off half way through scenes to make totally absurd comments I can't get behind, and don't think we needed the 17 minute domestic between you guys. But do respect the passion. 😆Anyway enjoy the finale guys, I will say it is interesting that usually one of you gets certain aspects, then the other will get others. Like Mair is spot on about Walt's true motives for doing what he does as I'm sure you've seen by now, but Sophie was spot on about Walt & Gretchen being the reason he left. But c'mon Stevie Wonder could see Todd is absolutely infatuated with Lydia at this point and her being his only motivation for carrying on cooking right now, smh.They just stole like 70m, the theory to show Todd is infact just being greedy & being protrayed to be like Walt is just way off.

    I sure hope Mair leaves this Dismissive attitude towards Sophie behind when they start Better Call Saul, especially since she's usually right and he has no idea what he's talking about and just wants to seem smarter.

      The only thing he dismisses is her ridiculous insights, if you can even call it that lol. Mair seems better at seeing things from different characters’ POV and has a better understand of motivations.

      Sophie is a strong, intelligent woman and is more than capable of holding her own. Someone just said "Sophie has jumped the shark" because of her opinions. You can't please everybody!!!! And who are you to be babbling about Mair's psychology? You're not owed anything, this is content being provided to you for FREE. It's their relationship, so butt out! If she has a problem with Mair, she'll say something, on or off camera. I'm sure of that. (P.S. Better Call Saul is a big bore although it 's better than El Camino, lol)

      PS: Now I just saw a comment complaining that SOPHIE interrupts Mair! See what I mean? You can't please ANYBODY in Breaking Bad reactions. This is why so many stop reacting to them, mid-way. Small Screen Reactions stopped RIGHT BEFORE Ozymandius. He made it all that way but stopped (and abandoned his channel) because of the asshole Breaking Bad fans. And he's far from the only one.

      @fingolfin897 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      "Oh Sophie isn't always right and has a tendency to interrupt". Ok, so let's bash her and chip away at her self-esteem to make sure we still feel like the smarter of the two? Go fangirl over this angry dude if you want, but don't try to act like he isn't verbally abusive towards Sophie because he is.

    This is happing because of Jessie throwing that money and bring Hank into it , Jessie could of just walked away with his money, but no .. this is on Jessie. And Walt is a better tipper then Jessie also

      This is happening because Walt blackmailed Jesse into working with him as an illegal drug manufacturer and then poisoned a child.
