I have OCD too since I was a kid. Today I stopped my antidepressant because it make me forgetting a lot. Today I forgot it's Monday I almost didn't take my daughter to school . I'm so lonely today 😞. OCD, depression, illness, anxiety. Being so far from family. No friends. I'm lost. Pray for me things will get better soon.

This time of year leading up to Xmas is terrible for depression / anxiety…. Really wishing the best for you..💯

Ik this video is a year old and the creator might not see it but idc if they do or not I just have to show my appreciation for how much this helped me. I suffer with ocd and constantly just thought i was very bored i just did things out of boredom but what you said in this vid and what ppl have told me really brings things together and show that i have ocd now I was never diagnosed but with how things are I think i do have it. This vid helped me realize I'm not alone and I'm not crazy lol. It hit so hard I was sort of stopping myself from crying due to how much relief I felt from seeing how another person suffers with this as well and I'm not alone. Thank you so much for this vid it really helped me with what I'm going though and gob bless you and everyone here who also suffers with ocd I hope you all have a good day :).

I am 27 years old and just received my OCD diagnosis. I’ve been in therapy for almost 3 months now but I’m still struggling. Hearing your story has been encouraging for me. Mine manifests as very obsessive and intrusive thoughts and I really just want a sense of normalcy back in my life.

Bless your heart. I wish I could give you a very gentle hug. I promise it gets better, and therapy DOES help. It is just a long journey. I now like to see my OCD as kind of a super power? It makes me super empathetic, engaged and emotional - and I'm learning to like that about myself.

@@IamBecca Wow, I relate to you about being very empathetic, engaged, and also at times very emotional. I feel like others don't share nearly the amount of empathy I have for people in pain. I'm going to be starting therapy soon since I was recently officially diagnosed with OCD. I really appreciate your videos.

Another great video, Becca. I've always been a bit different to my peers and never considered I might be neurodivergent until well into adulthood. Thanks so much for broaching OCD as a topic; understanding of common behavioural and neurodevelopmental disorders is massively lacking and it's awesome that you're encouraging discussion and acceptance. Hope you are feeling all better from feeling under the weather 🤗🤗💗Not that you need an excuse to take a break! Sent you a message about your lovely art-piece I received. omg SO wonderful. (guys, support her art) Love this video. I relate with so much of this even though I never had a formal diagnosis. For example when I was a little child I would have to say this long winded good-night to my mother listing all the ways she was to stay safe (don't fall down the stairs, etc.) and she thought it was funny and cute but really it was something I felt that if I didn't say... something bad would happen! As a adult, I notice it more as, "I know I just checked that thing.. but feel like I should re-check.." Your self-care tips are wonderful.

My sweet Becca, it's great seeing you in this new video again ❤️ The best way to treat OCD is to work closely with a mental health professional who can help you identify and overcome the underlying causes of your disorder. Treatment typically includes medication and/or therapy. Some people find that medication is the best solution for them, while others find that therapy is more effective. There are a variety of different types of medication that can be used to treat OCD, and each person will react differently to different medications. Some people find that medication is only part of the solution, while others find that it is the only solution. There are also a variety of different types of therapy that can be used to treat OCD. Some people find that therapy is only part of the solution, while others find that it is the only solution. The best way to find out if OCD is the right treatment for you is to talk to your doctor.
Tips on how to treat OCD may include:
    - Taking medication to control the symptoms: OCD can be severely debilitating, and medication can help to control the symptoms.
    - Participating in therapy/counseling: Therapy/counseling can help to address the underlying causes of OCD, and can provide relief from the symptoms.
    - Practicing mindfulness: mindfulness can help to focus attention on the present, which can help to reduce the intensity of OCD thoughts.
    - Engaging in activities that are enjoyable: OCD can be severely restricting, and engaging in activities that are enjoyable can help to reduce the intensity of OCD symptoms.
Hugs and kisses my friend 🙂💋
