    Because my first tattoo is going on my forearm, I can keep my right arm out of the shower doors and wash the rest of my body. And then probably after that part, bring my right arm in and maybe try make the shower go cold like u said and cup a bit of water on the tattoo and then use the un-sentited soap

    I got my arm tattooed, i used regular body wash, Didnt let the stream hit it, Used a poof for the rest of my body, my hand for the tattoo areas. Even used a towel, dabbing of course and then added the moisturizer. I never experienced the pain from soap or even sleeping. Also never had it wrapped other then a sweater when working out.

    Hey Mike I've got a quick question. My tattoo artist told me to wash my new tattoo with the hottest water i can stand and wash it then use cold water to rins. Now my question is are there any down sides to rinsing a brand new tattoo with hot water?

    • @EvolveINK
      @EvolveINK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Absolutely. Using hot water will not only irritate the tattoo, but it will cause ink loss, and it would hurt when applying it. Use lukewarm water to wash the tattoo.

    My artist uses Sanaderm. Great for showering and healing. I usually shower the following day after I get the ink. I leave it on for 48 hours. After I get out of the shower I peel it off and wash the tat with baby soap. I let it breath for at least two days. I put Lubriderm lotion on after the fourth or fifth day. Works great.

    I might add,these Tips are Pro's Thanks.I want to address these 2 things:
    1.Do not dry yourself using the sun when your new tattoo is exposed after a bath,during summer many dry themselves using the sun after a bath while having a new tattoo is exposed to the sun is very bad even if you just had a bath and want to dry itself using the sun rays A BIG NO NO if you're tattoo is located where the sun ray can touch it like,neck back,arms etc
    2.HYDRATE YOURSELF! Yes you are hydrating the NEW tattoo with lotion etc but HYDRATE yourself from the inside,specially those who are drinking liquors,you will be easily dehydrated which is bad for your tattoo.Dont drink liquor within 2 weeks after a new tattoo!.Hydrate yourself properly specially in the Fresh and healing stage of the tattoo,Not just by lotions or hydrating skin product but Do a Hydrating Diet if you are prone to dehydration or your drink alot of liquor in the pastDehydration had bad effects to the skin and the new tattoo.
    That's all ,thank you to you and this video,I learnt alot.
