I binge watched "The White Queen" over 3 days, and was so looking forward to the continuation into "The White Princess" with the actors and actresses that I had enjoyed so when I saw that new actors are in "The White Princess", it put me right off. That's why I am watching this interview, to see if I can relate to these before deciding whether to watch it.
Their history is rather on point. I appreciate that from actors. The show obviously uses some creative licence but I did not know about the rival claims by the Burgundian Duchess so it was nice to see that fleshed out. They also portrayed their relationship very well, a lot of love to the extent Henry VII did not take mistresses which is a record, though the show does mess that up. @#$% there are a lot of sops here.
It seems he looks at her with a great interest because he is really curious what she is gonna say, since Jodie looks like a girl who does not say much about the roles, she simply plays them...Unless she is asked to say something, and then probably her fellow actors are interested to hear what she has to say...But she is always up to the point, just not in a very pretentious way...She has a really good make up here, and he has much better voice here than in the show...Frankly, I don't see a chemistry, just his honest interest to hear what is gonna come out of her mouth.

uh yeah she was supposedly in love with Richard and although it was not said Henry forced himself upon her it is said by several eyewitnesses that henry and lizzie relationship started off rocky and that henrys mother Margaret played a part in a lot of it
there is NO evidence at all of Elizabeth being in love with her uncle. look at real historians, not novel writers. Richard imprisoned her brothers, usurped the throne, made her a bastard and was planning to marry her off with the king of Portugal. There are letters indicating she was looking forward to marrying Henry because her future was pretty bleak.
He is looking at her dainty features. She is God's most wonderful creation, a masterpiece..but little she knows. In his mind, he says " This girl is really beautiful! More like a work of art, her eyebrows are in perfect symmetry with her nose and eyes, and her lips are those I want to kiss every night. The girl continues to answer the questions of the interview, while he was in his own world of her, with rainbow colors. Then, suddenly the interviewer began throwing questions to him...he was out of his world.. This is quiet a view!
My little sister, mom and I loved the series, a bit too short though, we wished it could've jumped onto the rather dull chapter in Arthur's and Caterina de Aragón's history. We certainly disregarded the anachronisms and false twists of history, but we enjoyed it anyhow.
