Damn. The blues and purples do a really good job of giving a nod to the traditional and classic Halo main menus! And the detail of the Banshee doing laps in the sky? What a neat callback to the little details of 3's menus animation. I always pictured those Banshees were out scouting in a routine patrol pattern. I'm sure whoever animated them back in the day never expected they'd be such a memorable little detail being referenced almost 2 decades after they were first animated. Lovely stuff.

I started Halo when I was 10. Every single dude from xbox live on my FL has been offline for at least 17 years.. I wonder what happened to all my mates from back then. For myself I am 34 now and running my own NGO. What are you guys doing in life? :)
Same as me. Used to do xbox system link in my parents garage with the other kids on my street. 4 tv's, 4 xboxes, 4 players on each console. That garage got loud and sweaty. We used to play blood gulch endlessly. I'm now 32 and I make film trailers for a living. Hope you're well Dampfhammer :)
Halo 3 at 15 for me, im 31 and im a nurse now, studying for my masters, but id rather be playing snipers only on valhalla
Halo 3 at 16 ish for me. Tons of fun and like you my FL is... mostly offliners. Everyone just kinda moved on. I am 31 and I am working on my Associates Degree in IT as we speak. I hope everyone is trying to live their best life. Our best years are not yet gone but it certinly feels like it.
I started Halo (the original) when I was 12. Internet was too slow and I was too isolated to play with anyone so I had to use modding tools to do the best I could to create weird scenarios in singleplayer :(
Now I'm 33 and an accountant, musician, and with a wonderful woman whom I hope will one day be healthy enough again that we can enjoy a few years of youth before we grow old. Nostalgia is to remind us we have the ability to love and to dream, if we get out of our own heads and care about the important things.
