I read these comments, and then took my headphones over to my cat to see what she thinks. She started purring. I guess that makes it 5/5 cat would enjoy. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This feels like an adventure/puzzle game in a world where you don't know what happened but you can see the remnants of an old society fallen to ruin, with nature having retaken the land.
I don't know when it occurred, but discovering albums on TH-cam has probably become the best thing about the site, and one of the purest forms of joy to be found here. Something about a captivating image and a sonic experience that rewards that curiosity. Real-life magic
i can picture myself adventuring in a dimly lit dungeon laden with trees and grasses and vines with entities of different sorts... i love it when my brain does this sort of thing
The sound of water dripping rhythmically deep in the dank passages, the oppressive darkness occupying every absence of light, the scent of stanky goblin cheeks clapping up and down the dungeon's halls...magical really
Castles should never be abandoned. Other kingdoms will take over, and rule from their thrones. Not kingdoms of steel, nor of valor or malice. Kingdoms of fungi. Of flora. Fauna. The life which once bustled a castle with feast and harvest, life in clattering pans and torch-lit corridors...changes. It changes into a life of a different sort, but no less engaging. Those who learn to listen may find that the gentle music of such life will make time slip away like water from a sieve. The affairs of men and those who walk upon this earth will lose their savor in comparison to such effusive music. The tale is told of a man who contemplated the beams of light reflecting from one dewdrop dangling from a toadstool for years upon years, and when he left those environs, found his village faded away. Not to pillage nor plague. Not to the voracious appetite of fire. No. The place of his birth had been carried away by the inexorable currents of time. In these places of long-abandon, these benevolent stewards of the dark and decaying, the sunlit and forgotten, will gather in all into their domain, rejecting none, for their domain is of all that live. That said, I revise my counsel. Know well that which you will leave behind in the contemplation of such places, that you will love more the loss.
Wow this is great. Ive been looking for Dungeon Synth that actually fits my taste and this hits it. No constantly repeating patterns, very atmospheric and open for imagination. Gute arbeit!
IT puts me in mind of "Winter and the sound of Nothing" by Sara Ayers, from 20+ years ago, maybe there's also a listening thread for you to pull at there. But first I'm letting the rest of this album play, thanks WitchBolt!
The party walks into one of the many caves in the forbidden mountain. Often they were warned not to go there, but they had little choice in the matter. Their quest demanded they went. Upon entering the cavern, it was evidence there was conflict here. Skeletal remains of human and non-human alike. Fungi growing from the rot that came from the flesh and gore of these beings. Further they went, the mage noticed the mana lingering in the air grew more noticeable, sparkles making the air glitter. Whispers of the past audible. They found their mark, a promising pile of crystals, empty of any sort of mana that once charged these materials. Skeletons surrounded the them, forming a circle of scattered human remains. The knight theorised this was a ritual circle to power these empty crystals. The cleric theorised they were planning to use the crystals for profit. The mage theorised the crystals were going to be used to make stronger rituals. The answers was right in front of them. The crystal pile began to rise and take form.

@@GrowingGhosty but like for real!!! Do you ever have those moments when you have your music on, you’re going about life, and it sort of feels (disassociating) like you’re on a movie? Love those little life moments :)
Hey, sometimes you need to gamify your errands, I mean, side quests. And sometimes it's fun to make those side quests a little ominous. THANK GOD I GOT THE GROCERIES IN TIME.
Love this music. There's something about it that calls back to the mystery of playing RPG games as a kid and finding a new environment. As an aside: This music is so relaxing as well. I was having a buildup towards an anxiety attack, and I put this on a few minutes ago and the low tone is very calming.
Listening to this feels like walking through a deprecated, dimly lit and wondrous dungeon of an unknowable size. Mysterious trees and plants, glowing, breathing and coiling themselves around the ancient architectures beautiful designs. Magical lights of long forgotten mechanisms somehow still squeezing themselves through the thick foliage and basking the whole area in a subtle ethereal glow, while creatures just out of sight scuttle about. I love it.
The algorithm brought me here and I am not disappointed. Somehow this level of calmness was just what I needed to let my brain drift of elsewhere, even though I didn't know I needed it.
i'm new here. clicked on by chance cause it was on my home page and damn, i am sticking around. The atmosphere it creates and the emotions it stirs in me -- i can really see myself wandering around to it on my day off [though im listening to to it rn while at work] or a soundtrack following my D&D character around. I have found this while lost wandering across scrolls and scriptures not from my land, ever wandering the sea of Everflowing Knowledge. I came for I heard a shallow bellow, a mixture of home and somewhere else. I listened, for I pondered what it means to step back or trod on forward. I will stay here once more in the future, for the journey is cyclical, and my raft will sway ever more.

Found this today and already listened to all the albums! Been studying and working on my architecture projects for hours and this music is keeps me going. Astonishing work! Reminds me of the game series Kingdom, which also has a great sountrack. Wish I could listen to it on spotify too.
been playing this in the background during dnd.. the vibes really fit my character, especially in harvest and listen to the carrion. they're a circle of spores druid! thanks for the incredible music
Lately, I am enjoying playing Minecraft in VR; and soundtrack like this makes experience so damn immersive: to every swing of a pick, block with a shield and swing with a sword in a dim cave.
A very pleasant and refined album. You can feel the story unfolding from song to song. Despite the ambient form, you can hear a lot of cool details. Great as an everyday background or a musical work to immerse yourself in. I like the dynamic range. Sometimes something plays quieter and sometimes louder. This gives a sense of wonderful depth and multi-levelness. Additionally, beautiful and minimalist graphics with an interesting color palette.
Writing a DnD campaign right now and looking for music to fit it. Got couple of more cheery dungeon synth thing for the nicer areas of the game but this will be brilliant for the more dangerous earie places my party will explore!
