Dont buy this planer, its motor is not even moderately durable. it seems well built, pero hindi matibay. I have one and hindi man lang umabot ng 2 months of light-to-moderate DIY usage yung motor. Bili na lang kayo ng proven na brand, mas mahal pero at least magtatagal.

@@PinayKarpintera thanks for replying. good to know na okay pa yung sayo. It's likely na defective lang siguro yung na-ship sakin, and I'm confident i would be able to get the motor replaced since it's stil under warranty. Pero hassle pa rin since nasa probinsya ako and would have to drive all the way to manila just to get it serviced. I actually quite liked it, it feels pretty well-built too. But because of this experience, i would probably refrain from buying any lotus power tool in the future.
