My Dear Maria, Yesterday I just happened to have listen to this piece and re-listen, on loop, for three hour. While listening, I explored Mr. Nico Cartosio channel, to find out who wrote this moving piece. On it I found a lovely clip(The true story of composer Nico Cartosio'), of his experience going to the famous Abbey Road Studio where he recorded the instrumentals. There he met these world class musicians that produced these heavenly sounds. Short clip, worth a view. Maria, you are doing a great job covering Ms. Jordan. I was holding my breath that you were going to stop watching when you paused it toward the end! That violin solo is breathtaking! It is believed that for this song Angelina was using her pure natural voice with no embellishments. So, no, she wasn’t trying to sound like someone else-she was just singing in her natural voice with the embellishment being the emotions that the poem evoked.
