    Not usually a fan of the tone from Birch toms but with the walnut these sound extremely good!

    Sounds awesome!

      Hell yeah! Excellent! I also did the same with TAMA. I had my Rockstar-DXs for 32 years, then also got the TAMA STARCLASSIC Walnut/Birch in Piano Black lacquer just a year in a half ago and yeah man! They are so great with the Walnut tone wood for depth and warmth and width, then the Birch for attack and projection! I love the chrome popping over the Piano Black

    Beautiful kit, great playing. The tuning is very nice
    I like the bass drum. It sounds tight, but its very cool.
    Im used to a deeper sounding bass drum, with more thump. Lol.
    I always liked TAMA, but then i got away from them. I had heard things, saw things that didn't impress me. But lately, i have heard and seen some really nice kits and reviews about TAMA drums.
    I was thinking of getting a TAMA kit for my next kit.
    I love those shells.
    I meet drummers from all over, and they have been talking about this kit, and other TAMA drums.
    Thanks for your awesome video .
    Peace and love,
    Glen

    • @nielsemilbechnaumann
      @nielsemilbechnaumann 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Birch bubinga. Yes. In sine establishment, this is an upgrade. And birch/maple is slightly lower than the old performance

    • @FanaticDrummer
      @FanaticDrummer 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I sold my BB for one. Honestly I do prefer the BB attack and low end. However, the new hardware etc is worth the upgrade over a minimal sonic difference. But they needed to make a Starclassic Walnut to replace the Bubinga instead of just having Maple.

    how do you get your bass drum to sound so deep and punchy?

    • @P.Village-Studio
      @P.Village-Studio  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is mainly because of the two microphones in the bass drum. The first one is in the bass drum, the Shure Beta 91A. The second is in the hole of the resonance head, a Sennheiser e902.

    Wie hast du die Toms und Snare gestimmt?

    • @P.Village-Studio
      @P.Village-Studio  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Schlagfell Toms: Alle Schrauben gelöst, Fell und Spannreifen zentriert, Schrauben ohne Schlüssel handfest gezogen, dann mit Stimmschlüssel überkreuz in halben Umdrehungen weiter angezogen. Visuelle Kontrolle durch festen Druck mit Handballen auf die Fellmitte und so weit angezogen, bis gegen das Licht keine Wellen/Knitter mehr am Fellrand sichtbar waren. Dann feingetunt, sodass bei allen Stimmböckchen ungefähr derselbe Oberton anlag. Tonhöhe war dann schon von alleine fast ideal. Noch etwas nachgestimmt und probiert, wo die Tom für sich alleine rund klang (bei mir irgendwo in der mittleren Range).
      Resonanzfell habe ich dann jeweils ca. drei Halbtöne höher gestimmt als Schlagfelle, damit die Toms nicht zu viel Resonanz haben. Als letztes alle vier Toms in der Tonhöhe noch einmal nach Geschmack/Gehör aufeinander abgestimmt.
      Snare: prinzipiell genauso gemacht, Reso-Fell mindestens 4 Halbtöne über dem Schlagfell. Beides in der oberen Tuning-Range und Schlagfell leicht gedämpft.
