RVing West Texas is something we always enjoy. Towns like Marfa, Alpine, Marathon...all have a lot of history and charm. And most of the RV parks are simple. The long drives and open roads are always a comforting start to our road trip as we make our way east. We missed this and are glad to be back!

Marfa is certainly a hidden west Texas gem. was just there last month and stayed at tumble in also. great little park, great prices and friendly people . and you absolutely cannot beat the clear sky at night! which, the stars were the reason I went. plus the Marfa mystery lights are certainly super cool to witness! highly recommend it, although I didn't get out to try the local food sadly. I've heard pretty great reviews on it though

We stayed in Alpine last year coming thru and went to Marfa....so many things, shops, restraints etc were Covid affected so maybe we should go back sometime. Sad for Feivel the mouse, but ya gotta do it.....one becomes 10 quickly...😉.a tree frog hitched it's way on our awning from FL to GA today, but he abandoned ship when we got here and put the awning out. Hope he makes it🤞🤣
Love those tree frogs, we had one hang out on our car too a couple days ago!! Marfa was much more open this time around which was great! Cheers guys!
Eek - mouse! I hope we don't have any of those visitors - or if we do - that our cats will save us. Another great video. Marfa must be a great little town if you've been there twice already. Remind me not to get into a Movie Trivia contest with you two. I have no idea how you keep coming up with all those movie clips. Safe travels!

Nicely done; you obviously (for those of us with a bit-o understanding of what it takes to produce good videos) invested a whole lot of time and thought here, between capturing clips and editing, etc. Your labor of love definitely shines, so kudos!
Aaaand, you’re both clearly “Natural Born Hams”, guess you could say? A good thing for this sorta pursuit, of course!
Lastly, as small world would have it, I’m writing this now from just outside historic Fort Davis in my “oversized” teardrop trailer built by the Amish in Ohio. As you both likely know, Fort Davis is the highest elevation town in Texas and a bit “up the road” from Marfa and Alpine. The old Fort is in the National Park System and the town is a short easy drive away from McDonald Observatory.

Be careful using the X-Chocks without wheel chocks. They’re not meant to be used that way. Just for stabilizing your rig, not keeping from rolling away. Noticed while you were cleaning the air filters. Just saying.

I can't believe you guys are back in the same place you were last year. I remember that video. I had a hitchhiking mouse, for I kid you not, 6 months! It's a crazy long story, I actually wrote a blog post about it years ago.

Hey Joey! We’ve been lucky so far and haven’t ever had that issue but a few friends of ours have. We just make sure to lock everything up and hide the important stuff if it ever does happen. All the best!

Using xchocks without real chocks is dangerous. Xchocks are great for stabalization, but will not prevent a roll. Just trying to help.
That’s true, I typically use both but didn’t in this case. Will be extra safe from here on out and do both 👍🏽
