I am a TRUE Austinite. I was born here in 73, and yes, you guys did pick many cliche things to do, but you enjoyed them and it was beautiful to see. Austin has changed before my eyes. The "transplants" have over saturated this city and have changed it in ways that are not a reflection of what COOL Austin used to be. If you encountered rude people I can guarantee you they aren't from Austin and definitely not from Texas. Come back for another visit. Let ME show you Austin!!!

I'm pretty new to the whole travel trailer myself. I have noticed that backing the tailer in on the driver's side makes things much easier. It's way easier to see. Not sure if it makes sense or not..
That's so true and totally makes sense. We try to do that any chance we get but sometimes RV parks are set up where you have to do it on the other side which is definitely more difficult. In this case, we already pulled up from that side so instead of driving around I had Olivia just go for it on that side lol 😂it was a good challenge, thanks for watching Sev!! :)

People here are terrible,and I'm also too afraid to go downtown now because of having watched homeless people fight,seeing used needles on the ground,ect. And I know it isn't just down town,but there's a large number of homeless people down town,also the people from Iowa are a lot more friendly,and just genuinely nice,if u want friendly people definitely don't look for them in Austin.

My gf was recently promoted and we now have to move to Dallas in a few months. Looking forward to a new chapter and giving human beings another try in another city lol

We went to bucces a couple years ago. Such a huuuge gas station. We werent actually too impressed with their food huge selection but not super amazing tasting.
I know it's MASSIVE haha same for us, some of the food was good and some of it was so-so but it was just cool to have so many options!! Def a great place to stop! :)

Hey Nena! Not hating on California. We're actually from there, too. We just simply said we noticed there are a lot of Californian's in Austin. Some Austinites shared with us (when we told them that we were from CA) that they don't like how some Californian's are coming over and trying to change their city to be more like California. It's a big topic there now. But we have nothing to compare Austin to since this was our first experience. 👍🏽
@@ONWorldTravel its not just the prices. its the kind of crowd high prices attract, and now austin is full of woke housing speculators and unlimited borrowing. its gross.. its all e-scooters and rent exploitation. not a nice place to live really. i have a green card, but i would not go back to that. i dont rate that lifestyle at all.

@@ONWorldTravel it had been happening for a while just not on this level,it didn't get this bad until "camp anywhere" was passed,and fortunately people have been making a petition to have it banned due to the fact that there's homeless people setting up in neighborhoods and leaving used needles on the ground,not only that but there's a ton of violence now,last Friday on my way home I watched a homeless woman get beat on a sidewalk,I don't even work in a bad area,there's also the issue that some of them have been urinating and defecating in public places,Austin has always had a homeless issue but it wasn't this bad,it's just unbelievable.
Just a little beginner tip for backing up. If you hold the steering wheel at the bottom, the trailer will go the direction that you turn the wheel.
