- The Legend of Acrius is the raid exotic of the Leviathan. Today, we'll go over how to get it, the ridiculous, currently bugged, potentially world first steps my clan took to upgrade it, along with my first impressions of the weapon.

Datto always gets world first for the raid exotic it seems
FRAYNETRAIN By the time Gothalion and friends got theirs, Datto was still fighting Calus. Datto was quite behind on the raids release. As far as the upgraded version goes it is likely that Datto got world's first.
TheBigTexan first of all can you even read the op said nothing of Datto being the first to beat the raid. Second, why does Gothalion have so many dick riders? Especially since it was SC slayerage that was world's first for the raid
Warlock Master Race Can you even read my comment? I never said anything about who beat it first. The OC stated Datto seemed to be the first to get the gun. All I was doing was pointing out that Goth and his friends got it while Datto was still beating Calus, nothing more. I'm not dick riding anybody. I only mentioned Goth because he was the streamer I watched on the raid's release. People can decide which streamer they want to watch you know.

5:45 Good to see that Randall is alive and well, and no longer has a SIVA infection.
It looks like the spread of the weapon is way bigger than the reticle shows (look at where the damage numbers pop up), plus it has a ton of range and overpenetration
The way I see it is a giant cone AOE in front of you. It should be great for clearing a large group of mobs stacked up together, but not meant as single target damage
Though yeah it really should be able to take out a major in one shot
Not exactly, since you say its cone is so big, then you need to basically shove the shotgun in the enemies ass in order to secure the full damage

The second shot in the mag is nice, until you realise that the thing shoots so damn slowly reloading it after every shot shoots just as fast anyway

The coming hotfix is reducing the seals needed to ten instead of 100, but keeping seals at one per encounter.
Seeing datto at 290 brought back memories
The seal part updated to get 10 seals thank god
I got to the tokens step on Thursday, fair play for actually grinding that out, i've been waiting to see what the next step was.

That is the most OP weapon I've ever seen in Destiny! The range is maxed out and the impact is nearly maxed. That makes for one BA shotgun!

Update: I just went on lfg and found a great team. We're on Callus and can't wait to beat this raid.
Thanks a ton for cutting out spoilers, my clan's still waiting for everybody to level up before we do it blind and it's slowly killing me avoiding it all.
Do you think that the token bug is caused by the completion of the raid itself? For example, we get 5 per Castellum clear and 13 per every other encounter besides Calus, giving 15. Normally, you can run the Castellum 4 times, along with the other 4 encounters, which means that you're normally supposed to get 74 per raid clear. What if, because you've already beaten the raid, you're only getting credit for one token instead of the 5 or 13 you're normally supposed to get?
8 per clear compared to 74 per clear is pretty abysmal, which is why I haven't done it yet.
We'll find out tomorrow, hopefully.

It's not one token dropping. You see 13 tokens drop, but only 1 is counted.

Also, phone call, that's bad judgement and it's a lie. They wouldn't force you to do the raid 13 1/2 times. They didn't even announce that it's intended. Don't confuse people with incorrect statements.
Any updates? I'm not sure if I wanna do it 13 1/2 times..

I feel like bungie were so afraid of making exotics op that they ended up making them really underwhelming.
Jake MacPherson Seriously. In D1 my first exotic was Thorn and I went through hell to get it. It felt amazing as fuck having it because not too many ppl did and it really stood out. Obviously it was OP in Crucible but at least it felt exotic and worth the journey to get it. Also D1 exotics stood out in terms of looks. Exotics were too easy in D2.

Datto I'd really like you to do a video on your overall thoughts and opinions on the Leviathan raid as a whole. From what I've seen from the community so far this seems to be the most divisive raid yet in terms of enjoyment factor.
Okay. Time to add it to my to-do list
1. Finish Malfesance Quest
2 - Start Rat King Quest
3 - Finally get legend of acrius
4 - actually try any other raid than the original leviathan

lol it's really fun to use. Best time is using during events, reg strikes etc.
Heads up with the Arms Dealer, there's a maximum time limit you can reach, so you're not required to kill every single anomaly. If you get that message, don't worry about the anomalies and just try to finish the fight.
This gun needs enough damage to one shot bathers otherwise its basically useless.

I really think thats all it needs ay. It will serve a purpose, that much damage wont affect pvp anymore than it does now, and will be plenty for good use in pve since you need to be pretty close to use it.
I mean if you can one shot the bathers then whats the point of playing if its just that easy and I mean its not even upgraded yet
@san curtain call can already 1 shot them with a bit of cluster bomb luck.
in the sunken isles, there is a lost sector very close to the fast travel, in there you can easily get the multi kills in the cave. if there's no more enemies left, just use the fast travel to sunken isles again, rinse and repeat
I hate the fact that although the strike says you need a power of at least 300, I have a power of 587 and none of my weapons above 580 one shot the enemy’s

Glad I waited for them to fix it. I had 8 after a raid, and when they changed it to 10 I was a happy camper. Again, my condolences to your 13.5 runs Datto / Math Class. But because of this video, I'm sure Bungo jumped on fixing the problem by removing that pesky extra zero from 100 down to 10...

TheyCallMeGerbin honestly I don't see how. ToM was a cool exotic, but it really had no use outside of King's Fall. To me that was underwhelming. It was good for one specific mechanic in one raid and other than that it was very meh. Outbreak Prime is a different story though. I'm glad this one is at least somewhat useful throughout different activities. And the idea of having to upgrade it is kinda cool I guess. I do really wish it wouldn't have been a shotgun though...
TheMoreYouKnow I fucking miss outbreak prime. I loved the wrath of the machine raid, and the quest attached to the outbreak prime was insanely long and hard (Lenny)

I think when you complete Prestige Mode, you get the ornament. I know for sure it has an ornament, it's in the database, no data mining done.
Too many raid runs needed, doesn't have sniper range, not enough ammo in backpack, and i wish it was as good as it looks
Its not fully upgraded yet... also it really only requires 3 runs of the normal raid, one to beat it to get the gun then two once they fix the glitch to get the upgrade.
Its easier then D1 WotM.

hi there! fastest way to complete the Acrius Multikill Quest is to load in leviathan raid and kill the mobs at the begining :) you one shot two each time! just reload and rinse and repeat!

You're a madman! But congratz on the first recorded upgraded version. I don't believe there are any more upgrades for it though unless Bungie makes a buff to it.
Some of the quest to get specific weapons in D2 are kind of crazy. Rat King and Legend of Acrius being the best examples. Right now I'm only interested in getting the Ikelos SG shotgun and Im going through the meat grinder to get it, but I wont do a raid just to get a shotgun.

I just said I won't do the raid for just a shotgun. But yes, raid gear should only be available on the raid.

You can use the hunter roll if you don't want to line up shots. You just can't let the reload animation happen.

It's pretty sweet looking. Unfortunately I still haven't finished the raid.
Hopfully the last step adds another shot and maybe chain arc damage? And extra ammo of course
For the multikills you can just use the small titan shield (or the warlock's rift with the exotic boots) witch reloads weapon when you take cover, it doesnt count as reloading.
Trust me, i've done this and it's much easier.
