- In this video I showcase the “finished product” of my Morimoto XB headlights on my lime rush green 2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. Personally I love how they came out. The blacked out housing looks so sleek. This brings the look of the TRD Pro all together in my opinion.
I’ll follow up with another video that shows the lights at night and using the blinkers. Though I admit, I think this would look a smidge better on my 2021 lunar rock 4Runner TRD Pro… What are your thoughts? Do you have a favorite headlight company?

Looks so beautiful on your Lime Rush. Last time I commented I mentioned getting a used GX460 but now I'll be ordering a Lunar Rock TRD OR! Your Lunar rock looks so incredible and I wanted to choose my own lift, wheels, etc. rather then go with a Pro's build. Looks like your headlights will be on the mods list now! Thanks for the video and thanks for influencing me on getting a new 4runner soon! The GX can wait a couple years.

Just bought the Lexus GX 460 Black Line special edition in Nori green (I really have to stop watching your videos!). I noticed the headlight set up looks fantastic on the Lexus and these that you just installed look almost exactly the same internally with the 3 projectors. They are so impressive at night.
I think you just made my decision on Solar Octane vs Lunar Rock on my Tundra. Love Lunar Rock but you’ve shown just how cool the bright colors can look. Great job!
Looks amazing! Did you have to make any adjustments to the beam pattern for the headlights? Or was everything adjusted right out of the box? The Amber DRL look incredible with the Lime Rush. 👍😊

Looks great! Thanks for the tip on the raptor lights i haven't installed mine yet. All you need is some baja designs amber fog lights.
Thought hard about that but the LEDs scratch the itch for me.
Two questions #1 maybe I’m blind but could you post a link to the raptor lights you have please? #2 did I hear you correctly when you said you’re getting a new roof rack? Will you keep your stock one or do you want to sell it ? Thank you

Looks great. Did you run the morimoto drl fuse tap off the efi no 2 fuse location? And then run the raptor lights off the inj fuse?

What brand raptor lights did you do? If you could go back, would you switch to 3 lights vs 4?
Looking good. Don't the morimotos also call for the inj fuse for the drl as well? How would it work with both the raptors and morimotos using the same fuse slot?
The AJT Designs key for 22+ looks much better imo than previous years too. Did that within the first 30 minutes of ownership.
There’s a new adapter relay for the 21-22 4Runner. I didn’t need to use the fuse tap at all for the headlights.

Nice! I have the same setup on my Lime Rush. I also got the tails and 3 raptor lights versus 4. I can’t wait to see yours with the wescott rack and lift. I think they will be my next addition.
I like the lime rush with amber DRLs. (Everyone has white DRLs now a days). Although I’d prefer to stay with the OEM headlights, the blacked out bezels look MUCH better.
Those headlights are wicked. Would 100% get those if I had a 5th Gen. I don’t hate the OEM headlights at all either though.
Looks badass man. I put the trd leds on my tundra recently and yea pulling the bumper is nerve wretching

Looks great, I have the exact same setup on my Venture. Definitely want to heat shrink the wiring and insulate it so moisture doesn’t ruin all your hard work. I just did all that to mine this morning, looks way cleaner.

Hi! I know you have these headlights and the Raptor lights installed , as well. Where did yo install both " add-a-fuses"? Ive seen other videos that sometimes the 2020+ will run a cycle and power on whatever lights are plugged into certain INJ ports. Any thoughts? I just ordered the Morimoto XBs and have the Raptor lights already installed.
Which fuse did you utilize for the headlights? Morimoto recommended for the 2020+ to tap into the EFI 2 and the 10A INJ fuse won’t allow the fuse box to close.
@@Aloha193I used the EFI 2 but apparently my DRLs and headlights automatically turn on and I can’t close my fuse box. I made notched with a dremel on my fuse cover and still can’t close😭 idk what to do now, only one side of my fuse box cover is clipped on which sucks cuz now my fuse tap wire housing is frayed and damaged

I installed these headlights and made the light adjustments few weeks ago. The lights are super bright, so bright that people flash me thinking my high beams are on. So I adjusted them even lower people still flash me. What has been your experience so far? I do the driver light adjusted lower then the passenger. I measured everything out according to a few videos I watched on adjusting headlights.
Ah that’s annoying. I had that same issue with the stock headlights in the 21 and 22 here. Not with these yet, thankfully.

Very nice,, One suggestion black inner housing OEM fog lamps, same led fog lamps you have with a smoked appearance for better match to head lamps.
How is the drivers seat in the 4Runner compared to the Tundra? I love the seat in my 17 Tundra. Seat is a deal breaker for me in a vehicle.
The DRL Morimoto did not work on my 2022 4runner, what fuse did you use for the Morimoto harness and what fuse did you use for the Raptor lights?
The far right "driver" side raptor light doesn't appear to be snapped all the way in the grille. Looks good though!

Untamed…any suggestions for raptor lights for a 21 4Runner off road?? I do t have the heritage grill so they must go on the bottom half of the grill. Also want to try and rig them as running lights!!!

The Morimoto is just plug and play? I got confused because everyone is having issues with a harness and plugging something to the fuse box for the DRL

Hello Untamed, do you use led harness harness? If you do how do you connect them? My high beam doesnt work, only getting low beam
I did. Ensure your Auto High Beams light isn’t on. That’s probably your issue. It’s on the left side of the dash. 👍

The both look great. I am personally a fan of the stock head lamps. Especially when accompanied with the raptor light.
How did you close the fuse box and where'd you plug the morimoto, is it just plug and play?
How did you get it to work with the 22 model I heard you need a hardness or something??

The driver's side lights are supposed to be slightly lower to not blind oncoming traffic. Mine are the same way

Love the Lime Rush color! Lunar Rock just doesnt do it for me nor does Voodoo Blue.
I've had alpharex and morimoto. Oem is just the way to go.

Sorry.. prefer the stock look, only wish the chrome upside down swoosh inside the headlights was led strip (factory update with refresh and LED headlights like they did with Tacoma). This Morimoto headlights reminds me of “aftermarket” 2000s BMW angel eyes. To me this just doesn’t look organic to the desigh of the 4Runner front, if the upside down swoosh was led it would look angrier. Raptor lights are cool touch, might do that to my Inferno 4Runner.

Did you need to add a fuse to the engine fuse box? I just did on my 21 pro and discovered the add a fuse was too tall and the cover would not go back on.
I did, I forced the cover back on lol… it bubbled up a little but works
Phew….glad I’m not alone! I used a heat gun to make a little more room for that bubble….but my OCD does not love it.

@@Fox250R the last year of this evolution of the 4Runner. 6th gen is rumored to be a turbo four and a redesign; for me personally, I will not even consider anything with a turbo 4.
@@TrueSight_333Its looking like we might very well have one more year of the fifth gen. Many delays and a leaked document shows no mention of the 6th gen this year.

Aftermarket just seems too much. Reminds me of the import days and all the ugly alteeza lights. OEM is clean and simple.
