I’m a year late to this video but I wanted to say Tip#2 was a serious game changer for wearing my iems!! I’ve always had small ears and my whole life I absolutely hated earbuds that used ear tips because they would never stay in or would hurt. A combination of your tip and the right eartips has made it super comfortable to wear iems now thank you!
Still not going to sound great compared to a dac, the digital audio converter in your computer is very basic. EQ adds noise and distortion, it's unavoidable. The ifi hip dac he showed is extremely good and will last years and years, and sounds fabulous.
Great video. Good call with suggesting the use of a DAC/Amp. I use a Periodic Audio Rhodium DAC/Amp with my Android, whether with headphones or in my car. I'm looking forward to the Moondrop Kato that I just ordered .

Yes, I purchased KZ ZS10 Pro 2 and it's so underwhelming than what I expected. All of my cheap earbuds match the sound of this iem and they cost less than half of this iem.
Really? Interesting. I have the ZS10 Pro 2 and with the first three switches up I actually love the sound. Paired with a good dac these IEMs are excellent, IMHO.

I love your review! I love sonic foam and the comfort they bring ! I just purchased the 7hz timeless Ae and am looking for something with a more snug fit ! I own the ear studio dac amp! With it I can equalize my music! I think I’ll try purchasing the dac mentioned on your review! And suggestions on double or triple flange ear tips? Thanks again for your informative video!
Hi, thanks so much! I prefer the sonic foam tips. I played around with the doube and triple flange ear tips and just felt better wearing the foam but… I know people who love the flange tips. I recently bought fiio fd3 because I wanted new ear buds and there's really no other affordable options that aren't like dirt cheap logitech ear buds from 2012, but I have this issue where there's quite a lot of just static noise that's not in my normal ear buds. is there a problem with the ear buds or do I am I missing something?
They are MMCX connection, right? My guess is your cable is damaged. Do you have another cable you can try? Maybe borrow from someone? There’s a chance - of course - the earbud(s) is/are damaged because there definitely shouldn’t be any static.
I can imagine that… and that’s unfortunate. Manufacturers will - of course - try to go for whatever is the most average because they want to sell a lot of product and make money. Not sure how to rectify this situation, I vaguely remember there was a project or two that was allowing people to send in the mold sample of the shape of their ears to get custom earphones made.
I tried the fitting tip you showed and lol the signature of my iems almost changed it feels like, its much better now

1. good seal
2. EQ
3. apple dongle if you hear any hissing or need the mic on a PC without a combo jack
That's all IEMs need imo
you can optimize the windows part/chain, so that it can have bitperfect output, eq helps most occasions in lower ends
