Hey! This is probably my dream school. I’m going into my junior year, I also live in PA. If I do end up going, do you think it would be easy to make friends? I’m outgoing and I love to explore nature and do fun things, would I need a car?

I think it'll be easy to make friends if you're outgoing! I made friends by joining a club. You don't really need a car since part of your tuition goes to the UPass which is our bus pass for TheBus system on Oahu which is a good way to get around the island (just takes forever lol)

Hi!!! I’m transferring this fall and wanted to know what dorm you’re staying in, it doesn’t look bad compared to the reviews I’m reading about the other dorms lol

Hannah D I’m staying in Hale Wainani. These dorms are pretty old, but very spacious compared to the others. And if you take care of it and keep it clean it’s actually pretty nice. Frear hall is newer and has AC, but the rooms are VERY small in comparison to wainani. Wainani also comes with a kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, and common area for each room, while frear just has a bathroom and bedrooms

I would love to go to school here because my aunt married a maui native and they moved to the big island to start their family so i have family out there and my grandparents are relocating there, but i would be a haole so i don’t know i guess i’m just worried i wouldn’t fit in. i’m only in 8th grade and i already know what i want to do with my life😂
