Speaking of fixing things, can you send word to Gameloft about the Victory Animations of each racer, cause I play this on Nintendo switch and the racers are STIFF after each race and its driving me nuts!!
I'd rather they either increase the percentage bonuses across all tiers OR revert back to the old stat bonuses and nerf the bonuses across all tiers. Speed is a huge factor even more now than before if you're playing ranked.
Maybe add some more tight and twisty tracks, so the handling characters have a niche. Then you can use the crew members to maximise the characters strengths instead of just top speed. So the new percentage changes would boost the handling stats a huge amount for the handling characters, but won’t help out the top speed characters much.
I've started season 4 so like half of characters are like locked for me them changing crew it hurts a lot for sure they are basically making us use different crew in a way it feels 😮

100% agree on this one! My only 5 star crew member is Cobra Bubbles and with Stitch at level 45 before the update he was insane! Super bummed when I saw how much less the bonus was once they changed to the percentages. I would like a revert to the numbers myself!
I did noticed a change when I started racing once the update took effect. The speed has changed greatly on many of my top racers I use in the game.
The way to fix this, which I don't see anyone suggesting is to have the scaling percentage based, but with REVERSE scaling, so if you have a lower top speed, you get MORE top speed from top speed boosts, if you have less top speed ,you get LESS from top speed stats. Make it so you get more of a benefit from crew that buff stats you're low in, and less from them bumping up stats you're strong in.
Yeah i think they should give more all crew members more speed and more boost they should really fix this issue and characters who are almost maxed out should get that boost then going slower with light weight heavy weights go faster mid light go fast!
Yep this baffling change made so many racers unviable so you can't compete at all. Complete mess tbh
The way they created the Crew mechanics was really broken. The way to balance it is to nerf the mechanics itself. One way is to apply "capacity" for how many crew members a particular weight class can have. Heavy racers with very high top-speed should only be allowed to be equipped with a maximum of 3 crew members. Middleweights with normal top-speed can be equipped with 4. While those lightweights with low top-speed can enjoy a maximum of 5 crew members. Each collection should have at least 5 specific crew members that can give top-speed stat. They should also revert back the top-speed stat of the heavy racers that were nerfed before.
I really liked the nerf on crews, it greatly reduced the gap from p2w to f2p
Before this crew change, As a free to play racer, I had a much easier time competing with top speed racers with my light weight racers since they were much more crew reliant. All of Mickey and friends were done in pretty badly. Of course Horace and Morty give speed now, but the shards are heavily nerfed now, so now it’ll take even longer to invest into the new top speed crews, let alone being lucky enough to make them appear in your shop.
It really doesn't. Legendary crew members are more broken then ever now. Theirs nothing More pay to win then people who have high level legendary crew members.

@@JulioCesar-nm4hn I hope they do that soon, because last season there were speed caps. Now that it’s been lifted, there are a small select few of racers who can exceed that previous cap limit with their pay to win crew. I forgot which ones specifically.

I agree with you 100%, but for me is even worse the issue related to characters leveling up...in paper it was an awesome change and a great quality of life improvement having a universal currency to level up anyone, but in practice its horrible. Hope they adjust the amount we can get from every source so we can actually feel a real progress and reward for the time invested in the game, not to struggle deciding who to level up in order to progress in season tour or any given event
How many upgrade coins did you receive at the end of last season as a result of the conversion?
I converted 275,000 and I am just being super disciplined and only upgrading racers that I need to do so in order to progress either the season tour or limited events.
it must only affect racing somewhere in really high ranked multiplayer, and where people actually have high level crew. Which I, and likely most of the player base has never even seen. The problem doesn't seem to exist lower down in ranks, and the new system seems to work great for pretty much every single other mode. In fact, lower level hans and beast, around lvl 35, are too clunky. So I'm not convinced they need to fix much, maybe a slight tweek to a few balance numbers on racers over lvl 45.
I agree the percentage is awful as the lower stat chars get less boost than the higher lv chars
Bet the mice and horsecollar will stop giving top speed once we max them. Other thing that bothers me is that the shop appears now to only give 3 shards max when before it offered 13 when a racer was between lv.40 to 49
If you nerf the top speed though, then all the top speed characters will drop to C tier and all handling champs would jump to S tier.
Tough to sort it.
More twisty tracks would help.
The really bad thing about the change is they also nerfed stun, so where before if you hit someone with high top speed they accelerate slower so it takes a while to get back to top speed now the stun is light so they are able to stay at the top speed longer that change really upset the balance or what was left of it , #nonerfsjustbuffs paying more money for less viable characters

I hate because previously slow racers that were only competing barely because of crew are even more shit now my meg at level 50 with all the crew barely had 6.2k top speed now it's down to 5.4 she CAN NOT COMPETE AT ALL NOW they need to heavily reduce to speed of all the top racers OR heavily increase the lower racers period not up for a discussion
High handling boost acceleration means absolutely nothing if hans beast buzz sully jumba are across the map because they have 3k - 4k more top speed the meg belle jessie Elizabeth stitch and 70% of the roster
I disagree with the balancing on epic crew vs common not because i want epic to be better no contest but because i spent significantly more resources on leveling my epic crew and what not but now that they're = i want to be reimbursed for all i put into them since they've been extremely nerfed i feel like i wasted to much i want my coins and gold back
How come you aren't talking about the changes to the responsiveness and handling? Can't even dodge obstacles anymore.

@@skyliner_productions - that's a shame. In Regulated: Try turning with Sully - doesn't turn enough anymore. Try with Meg - it will overturn. Also, haven't you noticed everyone is grouped up in ranked now, regardless of skill? Something's changed

btw vault pass is bugged as once you get all 12 gold trophies you can't get any more pts even though there are bonus rewards after you get lv30 in vault pass
Not a bug, those lvls are only for the pass owners.

Crew members for boosting racers must be fixed for while, if i complain about crew members top speed, i should be i be complain about gameloft

When you get the vault pass, do you have to buy it again for season two or does it move on to the next thing and you don’t have to pay for it again?

All vault passes are separate purchases

I like the changes to the crew and I think it is easier to buff those with low topspeed or nerf those with high topspeed instead of the way it was before.
