Gregory Crewdson was my first contact with Photography as art in a museum, I think I was 15 maybe, they had the whole museum about his work, the prints being several squaremeters big and absolutely stunning. I pretty much started being into film photography right away after this, sadly couldn't afford any large format camera back then obviously, but I am so happy I saw this exhibition, definitely recommend it for anyone.
The exhibition was paired with an artist making hyper realistic sculptures of ordinary american people, e.g. janitors and cleaning staff, was so cool and fit really well together.
Duane Hanson was the artist they paired the exhibition with!

I saw the Gregory Crewsden exhibition at The Photographer’s Gallery in London a couple of years ago. Those big prints are impressive.

Dave is amazing. I have several of his photos hanging my office. I was lucky enough to buy them when he used to sell them at markets in Arlington, VA!

Nice, I grew up in Holyoke a few blocks from the Yankee Pedler. We went on a tour of the power station just after it was built in the early 60's.

I know everyone is saying stuff like "why you don't have more subscribers" and stuff...
But god I'm happy you don't (sorry). It feels so good to watch someone sincere who just does what he loves with his heart.
Otherwise it's gonna become just another "Why I am shooting Leica M6" and "How to make PERFECT composition" type of bs content just in a race to get more views.
I hope you do grow your community, but in a more meaningful way. And I hope you don't measure success by some internet numbers.

Great presentation , Robbie. I do have a Instagram acct for my cycling adventures, guess I'll have to add some of my recent work shortly . Just need to convert from tiff to jpg and transfer to Instagram. Will let you know. Very interested in D. Rothchild. Thanks for the tip.
