Beautiful colours and textures, absolutely love a frosty morning. Enjoyed this very much.
Love the colors of frozen foliage! Also, the excerpts from wounds of winter look amazing. I can't wait to see how this project turns out.
I was really loving the colors with the frost too!
i love my GW690II too. I shot a story about cabaret in Taipei... easy tool, good feeling !
I forgot how much I enjoy your videos. This reminds me that interesting images can be made in places overlooked.
Thank you! I often need those reminders too
Great video, Robbie. There's art everywhere in nature. Press on. KB
Lovely video. P.S. That "fern" is Yarrow. Achilea Millefolia. One of my favorite medicinal herbs.
Once again, the Photography Philiosopher.
haha thank you
Lovely stuff Robbie, big fan of those fresh winter mornings. Not so much a fan of wet feet 😂 Great footage and photos.
Haha the things we do for love
Another enjoyable video! I absolutely love my Fuji GM670!
Thanks!
A new Robbie video day is a good day
haha glad you enjoyed it!
I'm getting caught up today Robbie. 😁👍
Bought damn time! ;) lol
Nice cameras. I owned both at the same time a few years ago and they made a great pair...although bulky carrying two of them LOL
The bulk is an issue but well worth the pain
These videos are so lovely
Thank you buddy!
lmao did not expect that overly sized cigar at the end
haha I used to smoke smaller stogies but these big boys last hours.

❤ I love this guy! 👍 Great photographs! I like photographing grasses especially in late fall
Thank you so much!
excellent as always
So funny you mentioned potentially buying the GW690. I have the GW690ii and have been toying with the idea of selling it - only because I just never shoot it anymore. I'm based out of CT so if you come to find that you are in the market for one just let me know!
I am so in the market. I just needed that push. Hit me up on IG
This looks amazing, I wish I could go out and shoot in the early winter sun but the past month was one continuous downpour
Haha you ain't kiddin! It feels like its rained everyday this year
@@RobbieMaynardCreates im european so there's like one catastrophic weather event with deaths after the other, the longest period of sun in the past 5 weeks was like 6hrs?
@Olyvia.. wow, thats an extreme lack of sun
You really have a uniq channel, eeeeexcellent photos, great narrative, and you are a real philosopher - and and a poet at that!
aw I appreciate that Adam!
A fellow frost-o-holic! Nice! Loved the image of the speedometer and leaves on the dashboard. Really looking forward to the Wounds of Winter project.
Thank you! I can't wait to share more of it with you all :)
Where are you located (like approximately) because it is beautiful out there! This reminds me a lot of my hometown on the St. Lawrence River and we have a hydro dam and that whole area is forest, power lines, ponds, train tracks, canals, and so on and this video made me incredibly homesick for this time of year. Beautiful video and photos, just stumbled across your channel and I’m glad I did!
Im from Central Massachusetts. This is the type of stuff I grew up around too so it feels natural to photograph it
@@RobbieMaynardCreates Awesome! I picked that up from some of your other videos 😀 I'm from Ontario on the border with New York so your videos feel very familiar to me. I'm going back to Canada next year to begin working on a dream project of mine which is to document the great lakes and the St Lawrence River, your videos are hitting the spot for my homesickness so I appreciate how gentle and inspiring they are. All the best dude!
Great video as always! I’m not so patiently waiting for winter at this point. Hoping we get a ton of snow this winter!
I was stoked to hear your episode of Analog Talk. I’m glad they got you on there to talk about your work etc. 👍
thank you for listening to the pod bud! I was super nervous but it was a lot of fun. Im hoping for some serious snowfall this year. Last year was a real dud
I think I'd opt for a Fujica BLP rather than two of the fixed-lens bodies. That also gives you access to the 100mm AE lens, which works shockingly well. I'm considering that change myself for similar reasons. I had one before and wish I never sold it.
I have thought about it but I've never cared for that camera and the lenses are hard to find, sometimes expensive and the RF is pretty rough
@@RobbieMaynardCreates The rangefinder was my biggest issue. I actually used a handheld laser rangefinder quite often when I owned it. The range finder was quite a bit better once I used a flash gel to cover the range finder window which increased the contrast.
What video rig you using for these?
Are you still standing under those power lines, Robbie?
been living under them in a tent
What ring gauge is that cigar?!
Fat LOL
“Excuse me”????? 😅😅😅😅
haha
do you forgive me robbie?
Of course my friend! Happy to hear from you
