Just wanted to say that your videos are amazing and i look forward to watching them when they come out. Keep up the great work and making this awesome content!!!
Your videos timing is good!! Im in Tokyo today & trying to find another cheap pokemon cards!! I have watched your osaka hunt & me, myself got a lot of good finds thanks to you 🌟
This is making me want to go to Japan so badly! Loved watching your travel videos and now even more stoked to find out you are a big Pokemon fiend like me 😅
I went to a couple of the stores you showed, including Card Secret, where I met the owner, who isn't japanese. He was very nice and I bought a couple of nice vintage Mewtwos.
47:20 i feel like that celebi is missing a 0 at the end lol, very nice find!! will be in Tokyo in July this year, hopefully the prices are still good or better by then
these prices are insane, even damaged cards. The prices are 2x-3x cheaper than Europe prices for the same cards. One day i will go to Japan and then I will buy a lot of cards for my personal collection.
It’s crazy!! I bought so much and still regret not picking up more 😂 so hard to justify buying things in Australia when I know I could have got it for way less in Japan!
Hi! The name on google maps is in Japanese, but in my description I have it listed as the best card store in Tokyo and it has the google link there which should give you the location 😊 hope that helps!
Out of curiosity, why do you buy so many copies of the same card? I not a big collector, but I never really thought about getting more than one copy of a card I want. Not judging, just curios. Great videos, btw
Some of them I have sold, but most are still with me. I’ll definitely keep at least one of each, but in some instances multiple (eg might go towards completing a set, my personal collection, or I might keep a copy or two to potentially grade at some point). I will probably sell most of them at some point but am still working out exactly what I want to do 😊 they were just so cheap and I love the ARs especially so I couldn’t resist!
@@PocketQuests Thank you for the reply. Oh I see, in australia you can also play tcg live that we dont have here in japan, in my area Mizonoguchi we have a lot of weekly tournaments anyway...just that the rotation will be on 24th of this month and I cannot use anymore my favorite deck the kabicon ;((((
I went to the store you titled ‘the best’ and it is by far not the best. Their prices are insanely higher than market and they have limited stock. I would say that your review is point in time relevant but now things are terrible
Oh damn! When I was there they had heapssss of stock and the biggest selection of vintage (especially high end vintage) I’d seen in all of Japan. Sad to hear that’s not the same now!
@@PocketQuests They had some nice ones left in all fairness, but the prices were higher than ebay. I got some decent pickups tax-free at another store you recommended though, so thank you!
This is literally the perfect video I've been waiting for. It's my dream to go to japan to buy cards lol
I’m glad you found it helpful 😊 I hope you get to Japan one day!

Hello! Cool content. what is the name of the store at 40:50?
Hi! The name on google maps is in Japanese, but in my description I have it listed as the best card store in Tokyo and it has the google link there which should give you the location 😊 hope that helps!
7:32 It literally says italian on the sticker 😂
Hahaha my bad 😅😅
What do you do with all the ARs? Why do you want them?
They’re my favourite type of card, I love them! I have sold some of them but most of them are still with me at home 😊
Cool vid. I take it this was filmed earlier in the year?
It was - this was June 😊

Have you picked up any terastal festival cards, or opened any packs for yourself?
I have! I’ve opened two boxes off camera, and then have a couple more which I might save for a future video! 😊
@ sounds good! This set is one of my favs for SV era now
Hello, I do pokemon tournaments near tokyo, are you partecipating sometimes?
I actually live in Australia! But I’m hoping to play in Australia some time 😊

Anyway if you visit any card shop in holiday or high season, expect the price hike. Thats how the business works.
