Probably they did that in purpose to lure you so that you buy their Samsung Care + to protect your device. So that more money coming in for Samsung. They probably has learn a lot from Apple in how to maximise profit 😅😂😂

If you want protection for the Tab S9, then i would recommend a rugged case either from samsung, spigen, UAG and etc

I don't drop my tablet, I just put it on a table and realize there's stuff LITTERALLY SCRATCHING OFF THE PAINT at the back. This is perfect for me

Ivan, I've read multiple rants on reddit about how the magnets on the case interfere adversely with the s-pen functionality. Which is particularly more prominent when writing with the s-pen while the tablet with the smart book case is attached and is laid flat on a tablet or something. I was hoping you would be checking that here as well but it does not seem to have popped in your radar

thats true, on my s8 that happened to me. I though there was something wrong with my screen. I took off the protector and now I could draw everywhere on the screen without an issue

Same here. I love my tab s8 plus with keyboard cover, tho i remove this keyboard part very oftenwhen i am taking note with pen, obviously. So this detachqble simple cover with magnets whas what i was wishing to have. But anyways, this keyboard cover is super good, but only i wish it did not interfere with writing at camera area

I agree that the back cover only is better way to use it. You can always snap the front cover back on to store it.

Not a huge fan of smart book covers, but after using different cases for my Tab S9+ this particular book cover turned out to be my favorite. I've always used Samsung's rugged protective standing covers starting from Tab S7 too bad Samsung replaced it with the outdoor cover with handle for the S9 series. I mean I bought those too and I like how sturdy it is, just way too bulky for my taste. Now, I'm really surprised with the looks of this smart cover. Very premium indeed. And yes, when I'm at home, I just use the back portion of it and it really doesn't add any bulk to the tablet at all.

what about the covers compatibility to the samsung S9FE and does it turn off the tablet when folded back towards the back of the tablet. I understand that there is an issue with magnetic covers where it turns the tablet off when turned backwards

Can you still write on it while it's laying on the table. Because I don't know if the Spen storage is bad for writing, because I would need it for school.

It's no doubt a high quality cover, but it irked me quite a bit paying $159 AUD for it at the samsung store. No deals even on black friday after nearly a year !

Hey! Should I rather go for samsung galaxy tab s8 (600$) or ipad 10 gen (500$+110$) these are the cheapest prices in my country. I will use it most for collage( so notes etc.) but also drawing or some work. What I want most is that the device will last me until the end of my studies (4 years from now). What advice would you give?
I'll add that I don't have any device from apple, so the ecosystem is not an argument for me. Please help

Samsung is better for note taking in my opinion.
I use Samsung Notes default app for note taking/writing on PDF files.
      ● Also the S Pen is available for free with your Samsung Galaxy tablet purchase.

Hi everyone, I just brought the tab s9 plus. I want to use it for entertainment, take notes with the pen and bring it to work (but for private use: apps, reading, answer emails, chatting, stuff like that). I do not want to spend for the keyboard cover. Any recommendations?

Hay! Does it work with s8+? Except for the camera, the other fits are perfectly (magnet) alignment? As the pen cover is removable

The most ridiculous cover I've seen. The front has to come off in order to stand it up, THEN it's difficult to snap it on again. I much prefer the cover to my Samsung Table s7 that is all one piece. .

this case sucks. Finger print magnet and it only sits at one angle. Hinge case is way better

. That case is RUBBISH as far as protection is concerned - I bought very goodd cases on Amazon for my S9 plus and S7 FE
